God! That HAD TO BE INTENSE! Look at those eyes staring at you! I'm travelling to Tanzania next summer and I wish I get that lucky! Thanks for sharing.
Wish you the very best with your sightings, "blancol"! Tanzania can be expensive but both Ngorongoro and Manyara (even WITHOUT the tree-climbing lions, which only 10% of visitors are apparently lucky enough to see) are just awesome and totally worth it. Think of me when you see the amazing variety of flora and fauna!
I've just visited your account and seen you're from India! Where exactly? I work as a volunteer for a development NGO working in Tamil Nadu and I've visited the Tiruchy area twice. I simply love your country.
That's fantastic blancol! I live in Bangalore, and simply love the forests of Karnataka and the border areas with Tamil Nadu (like Masinagudi). I am so glad you have seen beyond the poverty in my country to her intangible riches! How long have you been here? You are most welcome to visit Bangalore!
this taking-video is a whole new thing...got to pan slowly, not get jostled about by spouse as HE rushes to get his shots...not let the camera run and get nice pictures of the safari jeep seat...!

love it when you swing the camera round and get the relaxed paws of the female, hanging down.
