What alot of people dont know is this guy is the originale drummer(studio version) of "show me what ya got" jayz song..When you get time, look for ya self..Im pretty sure
I don't nothin' about when I'm in 8th's 16th's or 1/4 note I just play way to teach I think I'll watch this a couple more times. just so i'll know from now on when I am or was in 8th 16th or Q ryhthyms..IT's The Drum !!
Thank you so much, Hear and Play! Bam, you're an awesome teacher. I've already learned so much from your videos... all the others don't teach the counts very well.

your bass drum technique is wrong... supposed to to bring it back after you hit, to let the bass drum ring instead of killing the sound by pushing bass drum pedal into the head.

Learn how to read music, then playing comes a lot easier and more natural. Learning purely by ear is like trying to run a marathon without learning how to walk.
kay yeah literally that makes almost no sense, do you read notes while playing drums? does anyone? even beginner.. its all memorization, well it looks like it is, ima start playing the drums and i dont plan on reading notes
Their are no "notes," to read while playing drums. All it is is rhythms. And let me also say that reading it is very easy. All you need s the knowledge of sixteenth and eight note combination's and what a few techniques look like and your set. But I also agree with Brae... If you're playing rock/metal on drums (Who doesn't?) their is no use in reading rhythms.

If you put all those mics on your kit, make sure you get a sound technician who knows what he's doing. That kit sounds just awful.

hyper4677 2 years ago
Just do it slowly until you can do it in the right way, then start to do it faster and faster, but try to do it the better way possible. ;)
DeadManCompany 2 years ago
try doing a slower tempo, as in make the quarter notes slower, and then slowly progress to the tempo you want
