Artifice sucks, but so do the rest of the crafting skills. I do like the mission skills, as sending your crew out for boxes, is pretty neat. I like the surprise of opening a treasure box to see what's inside, even if it's lame 99% of the time. I like this game, but the crafting skills, excluding missions, is ass... or the global market auction house... which should get patched to be called ass, that's a much closer representation of it's functionality.

@Bermejo17 hope we are thinking of the same thing but if you talking about the quick slot bar. its in the preferences menu under user interface i think. then somewhere in the middle there will be an option for enable the bottom center, left, and right quickslot bar. Hope this helps.

@Darthblr2 Sometimes explaining the basics, not everything, is the best way to start learning. It gives a good introduction to what things are. Ofcourse SWTOR's crafting system isn't exactly complicated, and you will learn as you craft. But i dont see exactly whats bad with this guide?

My biggest gripe for the artifice skill is that most of the lightsaber weapons can't be crafted until around skill level 400. And when you do get around to crafting those, it is most likely that you won't be able to use them.
