the first self-titled zomby album released on hyper-dub sounds really similar to the "one foot ahead of the other e.p....they both are filled with 8-bit sounding beeps, blips, and blubs. "Where were you in 92?" is a tribute to hardcore rave music from the 90's (breakbeats, super deeeep rolling basslines, and plenty of airhorns) you can hear influences from all of those albums on dedication. (sublte, but they're all in there.) dedication as a whole is definatly his darkest work.
@UNKNOWNFORMS Zomby EP was legendary. But this is a completely different vibe. Don't think you can really compare any of his releases to each other, they're that varied.
never been i zomby fan till now, this is the first time y say YEEESSSSS listening to him.i never undrstand the hype about hym but i really love the new album like no other.i dont usually listen to a lot of new music ,mostlly old records, rare forgotten gems and stuff like this ,but this new one really makes it for me....the bassline its not your average dubstep stuff, its more like a basseline froman old theo parrish track,im really in the right vibe for this joint.Im gonna buy the record today ...
this song is perfect the hi hats the synths the bass everything... i dont even like zomby but damn now i gotta hear all your music just to be sure
