Mildly convincing, but a few facts I would have liked addressed in this documentary.

1/ African American's score much higher in IQ tests than their African cousins. That can be due to either enviromental factors or 300 years of intergration and/or Gene mixing..

2/ Is there studies that compare economically matched groups of varying races?

Evolution is about the enviroment shaping the species not the other way around. If an enviromental change is postivie, it eventually becomes genetic.

@VisualAural Provide a source for these uneducated East Asians with high IQ scores. Why does East Asian academic performance have to be natural ability? I have some East Asian friends (mostly Chinese and Japanese). They're smart but they don't appear smarter than me. I have African friends who are also smart. Why is the genetic hypothesis more credible than the environmental one? Culture counts. North Korea and South Korea are of the same genetic stock. One is less successful than the other.

As this small, inner city school in NY shows, if you're able to recruit selected students (the school will not work if it accepted JUST ANY ONE from the street of NY: turn over will be too big & disruption too much) & teachers, have small classes, with little disruption --- & being able to maintain such an environment --- it leaves a lot of HOURS, per week, for serious academics.

The OVERWHELMING majority of kids --- regardless of race --- WILL learn in such a conducive environment.

And it's not because of my IQ it's because of my focus. From my 7th grade year to now my IQ has gone from 115-138. I was a descent student back then but now I'm a great student. I would never want to dash away anyone's hopes and dreams simply to push a racist agenda. But then again people that rely on race for self-esteem, black or white, are bound to support such things because without these beliefs, without this superiority their lives would mean little.

Honestly, I don't understand why anyone would want to believe in racial inferiority. I mean when you look at a kid like Kwan, you want to believe this kid will grow up and make something of himself if he maintains his focus. I know a lot about growing up poor and black. I come from a poor black family with a mom on drugs and in jail and a father that's here one day and gone the next. And I'm doing great in my Biology program at my university.

No. The conclusion is off. There IS a pecking order AND it is diffused through memetics. Memetics are faster than genetics, and as a new cognition/cognitive tool, will far exceed genetics.

There is BOTH a pecking order (genetics), AND the irrelevancy of it (via memetics).

@MysticNinjaJay Regardless of IQ, you're more likely to have a genius baby if you instill an attitude of GRIT. But yes, certainly, having a higher IQ will put the advantage to one kid over another. This factor is not as important as memetics factors, however.

@sondano Obama's father was the more educated of his parents. If he had married a Black woman with a naturally high IQ Obama would likely be just as intelligent if not more so. The problem with racialist theories is that they cannot deny the existence of smart Blacks. Whatever biological differences they claim between races which cause differences in intelligence they can only be average differences at best.

@MysticNinjaJay Obama's mother had a bachelor's in anthropology or mathematics and master's and Ph.D. in anthropology. His father left his own Ph.D. program. Nonetheless a black woman with a Ph.D. is as rare as a black gay republican. Of course there are very intelligent black women but the PROBABLITY of Obama himself becoming a high IQ individual would have been much lower if his father had copulated with a negroid woman. I didn't say impossible just unlikely.

One should compare individuals with similar calorie intake...

Remember that the IQ of East Asians at the time they were themselves facing famines and malnutrition was lower that groups that were not facing nutritional privation
