  • I've known this for a long time and never had a problem with its implications. The sun and light are frequently used as a metaphor for Christ. So it is only natural that as people converted they saw similarities to their sun god and used that to celebrate Christ's birth. I guess what I'm saying is I've always thought of it as a bottom up effect instead of top down, if that makes sense. Also, I'm pretty sure Easter is based on when the Passover is. That is why its a lunar holiday.

  • Bible is correct and speaks of mystery Babylon ..ex Easter and dec,25,,celebate priesthood, praying and talking to dead,,etc,,

  • both of you knock it pff please theres no point in thos argument

  • Early Christianity clearly had some very talented spin doctors!

  • just what I've been observing lately. Just a thought to start a conversation about. either way I don't care about what they practice on that day: they can celebrate the birth of their savior and I'll just worship the face I view the Divine as the way the ancients did. As long as we are respectful and tolerant of each other, why we practice the holidays is our own business

  • celebrating the fact he was born at all and saved humanity from its "sins'. Which, although some pagans may not agree with me, is perfectly acceptable in my eyes. Yes the chruch did purposely but Christmas on a Pagan holiday to help convert pagans, but in modern times, I don't believe it truly matters. i personally do not agree with Christianity or its dogma but i try to give them what many of them don't give me: an effort to understand their beliefs and practices with an open mind. Or that's

  • @Darry Thank you for posting this video, I enjoyed it and it's very informative, something I agree with. I'll throw this thought in for Christianity's reason to practice Jesus' birth on an originally pagan holiday (I guess it could be used for easter as well): Jesus is that important of a figure in their beliefs that to them, even though no one actually knows 100% sure when Jesus was born (I believe he was a real man historically), it doesn't matter if it was on his actual birthday, they're just

  • I am a wiccan and I do agree that quite a few Christian holidays are pagan holiday by origins (including Christmas, All Saints' Day, Easter, St. Brigid's Day, Lammas Day, probably a few others but you get the idea). However, let them practice the holidays anyway you want to, and i shall practice the way i choose to, it's their business. All I ask is to just keep an open mind and give others who do practice the old ways the same respect you wish to have returned. Have a blessed day

  • Basque people(hebrews of the bible, tribe of judah like Jesus) gave rise to white people.White people's genes are founded on the frame of the noble basque man and basque woman. After the ice age the basques scattered thruout the world sharing their culture and schooling freakin humanity.JUSTICE AND RECOGNITION MOTHERFUCKERS!!!! Pass it the fuck on,this is a big fuckin deal(Read Perry Pena's book shepherd kings)You are going to know the truth ill see to it.....envy is a bitch

    Go Barça

  • @MiamiDolphinsClyde10 Why are white supremacists always so angry? If us white people are so superior because we are white why is it we cancer faster than anyone else when we walk in the sun for to long? You race is part of development and adaption to a region not some misguided idea of nobility or superiority.

  • @ptango101 My comment had nothing to do with white supremacy u paranoid n self hatin homosexual, just stating facts that were concealed by shady bastards.

    Cheers "jenny"

  • @MiamiDolphinsClyde10 I don't know dude. You reek of the KKK. Is that your name? Jenny? I'm just feeding a troll aren't I?

  • All what you have said in this video is true! very well explained.

  • Christianity lacks authenticity . The Vatican was built upon the grounds previously devoted to the worship of Mithra (600 B.C.). The Orthodox Christian hierarchy is nearly identical to the Mithraic version. Virtually all of the elements of Orthodox Christian rituals, from miter, wafer, water baptism, alter, and doxology, were adopted from the Mithra and earlier pagan mystery religions. The religion of Mithra preceded Christianity by roughly six hundred years.

  • i loved your comnents and your accent

  • How do u know if it was hijacked by the satanic people to deceive. Remember Satan is the Master of deceptions

  • December 25th only represents what one wants it to represent.

  • You forgot to mentionthe god Mithra and the Persian roots to Christmas AND jesus in general. xD

  • @keola310 Mithra is nothing to do with Jesus !!

  • I agree with you 100%. religion is not some perfect thing created from god, it's a h

  • I have done the research and came up with the same conclusion as you, 4 years of freedom from the church now and I too feel reborn.

No more depression, no more fear, no more guilt, no more shame, just disgust for religion and all it's strong dilusion.

I still do christmas but just for the kids, if I had my own kids they would know santa is fake and christmas is not about jesus.

  • @seerdiscern Fool !! You have done exactly what satan set out to do! have you not read the bible?? where God speaks about FALSE religion that all stem from babylon and are not from God/Jehovah but from the god of this world satan! you foolish person you have walked straight into the trap of lies and deception, so you have forgot about God but you are still worshiping satan unwittenly by celebrating his satanic rituals (christmas) of which is an abomination to God!.U are in darkness!

  • @mybeautifulearth woh dude, get off your delusional religious high horse, I used to be were you are writing mind controlled bullshit that you never even checked with your own spirit first, you only spread the virus by writing such insanity, I did read the bible and I'm not that impressed with that god's conditional love for us, I worship nothing and I too hate christmas, sorry I don't fit in your foolish little box

  • @seerdiscern No you only fit in to your own foolish little box and are now bllinded as you have fallen away from God. Your mind is being controlled without you even realising, from the dark forces, the anti-christs of this world and if you have read the bible then you were not being guided by the holy spirit as you do not understand it from your comments but you would never aggree with me as you bilndly think that it is me that is brainwashed so good luck with your fallen angels!

  • @seerdiscern Jesus says, He who is not with me is against me so therefore you are an anti-christ

  • @seerdiscern so what is it you do not agree with in the bible and what religion was you with?

  • @mybeautifulearth I realy don't need to get into a pissing match with a christian on derylslones video page because I will not muddy what he is trying to inform people of here, but just for your information I was a christian for 30 years and I am a psycic seer as well as a few other paranormall things that have proven to me that christianity is for people who wish to stay ignorant of the deeper spiritual side of life, I would like to talk more in your private messages.

  • accept sol invictus as your lord and savior or burn in tartarus!!

  • Hello Darryl. With your dedication to your beliefs you must have been a great asset to your church when you were a christian. Every video is so thought provoking for me. I tend not to have the time to study this, but I think there are a lot of falacies out there forced down your throat by churches of every religeon. I enjoy your insight wether I buy into your view or not. Have a good new year.

  • @GaryGSF Thanks, Gary. Actually, I was quite the opposite of an asset to my church. I was a bit of a misfit and an outsider, inwardly critical of what I was hearing from the pulpit, and sensing others disapproval of me. But that's my fault, too. I didn't warm to most of those people and their ways. Three years ago, when I finally kicked it all out of my life, it was like being reborn.

  • @darrysloan...Easter is obiviously pagan in origin that is certain (Eostre is a germanic goddess). Christmas on the other hand was calculated according to the dates in the scriptures. Mary concieved in the sixth month of Elizabeths pregnacy which happened after the day he wen't to the holiest of holies...and a famous historian therefore conclude it would have fallen near the spring equinox. 8 monthes later is winter solstice. Therefore christmas.

  • @TheLueii An article states: "Palestine is very cold in December. It was much too cold to ask everyone to travel to the city of their fathers to register for taxes. Also the shepherds were in the fields (Luke 2:8-12). Shepherds were not in the fields in the winter time. They are in the fields early in March until early October. This would place Jesus' birth in the spring or early fall."

  • @darrylsloan Correct. Hence my earlier comment. But they had their reasons...that was my point. It wasn't neccessarily that they were conspiring to make their faith "disgestable." It could be argued that with the facts they took for granted that they made an honest mistake. Easter isn't easy toargue the same for....but Christmas does.

  • @darrylsloan therefore it being towards the middle of the year... Jesus' disciples didn't celebrate his birth neither did they do so for each other... birthdays were celebrated by the pagans, john the baptizer was beheaded as a gift for King Herods daughter on his birthday... the cake itself represents the victims head as in other biblical examples, so obviously God and Jesus would not accept such a awful act to be twisted and made 'holy' or christian-like XP

  • according to the Bible, there is shepherds whatcing lamb when Jesus is born. Lam in December I do not think so ;)

  • Comment removed

  • @darrylsloan very nice comment....question tho do you think it also expands into multiple dimensions? And what is our extend to that connection?

  • @ryan112233 listen i'm not a Christian but with the risk of getting a big back lashing from my pagan friends,i just ask that people respect each others faith. It really isn't that difficult.Every religious preaches about peace. There is a saying the highest tree catches the most wind. And that is always the truth. You get people that is over the top and i don't concern myself with them because they believe what they believe and are ignorant in there believes.Go study it a bit then we can talk.

  • @renier644 If you had lived a portion of your life in a deeply brainwashed state, as a result of religion indoctrination, you would understand why I'm an outspoken critic. I can't respect what I find contemptible, and nor would you.

  • @darrylsloan Where there any positives in your experience with Christianity?

  • @BurningMountin Yes, of course. Plenty. Some good friendships, a loving atmosphere at times, and even some genuine wisdom now and again. But ultimately, the selling of your mind is a detrimental thing to do to yourself and it poisons your life.

  • @renier644 It's all very well and good to say "respect each others faith" but when this other faith feels it has every right to judge me and threaten me for not believing it's dogma then it deserves no respect. When a faith wants to enshrine what it thinks is moral and immoral in laws that effect me that is a problem. I'm happy with live and let live. I just wish they felt the same.

  • @ptango101 How have you been threatend and/or disrespected? Would you be kind enough to give me an example of a Christian doing this to you?

  • @BurningMountin Every time you people threaten people with eternal torment for not believing what you believe that is a threat. Any time you belittle someone who doesn't believe what you believe that is disrespect.

  • @renier644 "Go study it a bit then we can talk." Could you be any more condescending

  • All religions are pagan.

  • The midwinter celebration was held a few days after the shortest day so people could be sure the sun was returning - it wasn't that they made a mistake recognising the shortest day.

  • As a Christian, I will not preach because I know you all don't want to hear it. Common knowledge is that we know His birth is not the 25th of December. It's a representation of his birth. No one knows the exact day, year, etc. as things have changed over centuries. I changed to Christianity because of my choice and what I believe is right and not pushing anything on anyone.

  • @fabiandesignz Which is more accurate: "It's a representation of his birth," or "It's a theft from paganism, in an attempt to make Christianity easier to swallow for the pagans"?

  • @darrylsloan funny you say "theft" when you've not even come up with an original thought for this video. Darryl did you steel this idea from someone else to make yourself seem smarter than others?....lol you're so full of crap.(I say that in a nice way)

  • @romney27 I can tell by your name that you are not gonna make any sense here.

  • @gmanhell94 admitting you're not so bright is a start?

  • @romney27 Im brighter than most sheep, i know that

  • @gmanhell94 well at least you have some confidence.

  • @romney27 I rest my case.

  • @darrylsloan it was rested way before this.

  • @romney27 Yeah, you "ad hominem"-ed me to death. What a winner.

  • @darrylsloan add fallacy invocation to the list. lo

  • @romney27 Don't worry. Just keep telling yourself: "There's no connection between Christmas Day and pagan sun worship, none at all, none at all. It's just a coincidence, just a coincidence." :-)

  • @darrylsloan I get what you're saying. I understand the "origins" of the christmas celebration. I'm familiar with the influence of santa and coca cola. I also get that most all celebrations have their roots in paganism and early religions. I just disagree that "you" can determine what reasons people today are celebrating christmas. That would be analogies of someone telling one who or what to "love" for example. No way for you to assign meaning as a generation. It just doesn't work that way.

  • @romney27 In that case, I'm afraid you completely missed the point of the video. I have no problem with anyone celebrating Christmas, for any reason. I am simply promoting awareness of its true origin - which you seem determined to see as a bad thing.

  • @darrylsloan the universe and life is observed as "emergent". It changes as we evolve. Even paganism has evolved to an understanding that the multi facetted aspects of nature are conceptualized as a "singularity". Not as many disconnected gods representing nature, but a single source. Even science recognizes the idea in the big bang theory as everything steaming from a "singularity.... that is my contention.

  • @romney27 Somewhere in there is a reason why it's wrong for me to point out the pagan origins of Christmas day, but I'm damned if I can find it. :-)

  • @darrylsloan fair enough, have a good year then.

  • @darrylsloan This person is wrong and does not know what they are talking about (another blinded Christian) it's actually an attempt by satan to mislead Christians into worshiping him as he's a cunning devil and will do what ever it takes to get man to worship him after all he is the master of deception and is it any wonder that people are mislead as he transforms himself into an angel of light. Paganism is from Babylon & the father of lies the god of this world who is called satan.

  • @mybeautifulearth Well said!

  • @fabiandesignz As a Christain it is your duty to preach the good news of the Gospel as this is God's will, you do not know scripture if you think this and are therfore still in the dark (blinded) December 25th is not a represaentation of his birth and is nothing to do with Jesus, this is false relgion that teaches that. Nothing has changed over the centuries, it is still pagan and these satanic heathens still do disgusting rituals on this date so therefore is an abomination to God

  • Great video! :)

  • just watching non stop horror movies and smoking up just put up the lights and tree for the family

it will all be over soon .you can find God in the eyes of a cat and a good cigar

  • so, fr ppl leavin in th southern ...like australia, is th 25th rebirth still of th sun?? duuhhhh!!! well, ppl with low reflection. just takin words frm others, addin nd addin thm nd think tha'll make sense! >.please, go bck to ur senses nd think abt it "if u can actually think" instead of just "repeat"

  • besides do you really think that people put christmas presents under their trees because it's pagan or that consumerism is a celebration of the birth of jesus?

I do it because it's my tradition to want to share something fun with my kids and enjoy their happiness. It's absurd to think that parents are consciously trying to funk up their kids heads with ancient lies. Atheist need to lighten up and not be afraid of what others are thinking. it's no fun to be such pussies. fact.

  • JESUS CHRIST our lord and savior was born on september 11.3 b.c. that is the real reason that the satanic cia masterminded and carried out the destruction of the twin towers in manhattan usa. it was done on this day to smite GOD. there is a lot more meaning and symbilism involved. it had to be done in front of the statue of the war goddess(statue of liberty) also there is another statue near there showing a soldier being betrayed. he has a bayonnet in his back. betrayed by his own.

  • Not only Christmas, but Halloween and Easter are also Christian attempts to wipe out paganism.

  • U R RITE IN SOME PARTS AND WRONG IN SOME GOD SENT HIS SON JESUS CHRIST TO DIE FOR OUR SINS WE KNOW THAT

  • @dendevez And how exactly do you "KNOW" that, because the Bible says so? Or because priests and christian believers continue to argue that it is so, without actual proof other than makebelieve? Bitch, please...

  • @Rrutgersson so don't you believe that he died for our sins

  • @dendevez i know about Christmas i don't celebrate it but that doesn't mean u cant live a clean and descent life and turn away from evil

because whether u like it or not there is a God and there is Satan

and in the end it will all be revealed to you learn to handle the truth

Man did not make god did and he gave life to you so

change your ways know or suffer the constituencies on judgement day

    peace

  • @dendevez You live in the 21st century and believe in sky wizards that can relieve our so called "sin" that is a very diffuse expression of doing something "bad" like working on a sunday (which according to the old testament is only punishable by death). Makes perfect fucking sense......

  • to bad your just regurgitating others works. then you imply thinking for yourself. irony juxtaposed with stupidity. nice

  • @romney27 How else can one study history other than reading the works of others and sharing that information? You can't contradict the factual basis of what I'm saying, so you rely on a personal attack. (yawn)

  • @darrylsloan it's your tone that I question. I good communicator can infer their influence without so much pretension. You assume entirely to much and rely on generalizations as objective fact. A fallacy on it's own merits. Not to mention you've consolidated nothing and your scholarship is a single source, hardly that intelligent.

why invoke history when you're critiquing it? Do you not see that religion is emergent as is any other human condition? You offer no enlightenment. truly a yawn, yes.

  • @romney27 You just said a whole load of nothing.

  • @darrylsloan is it ease that leads you to such a lazy reply? funny how you try to portray yourself as complex, when clearly you lack complexity.

maybe your yawn is because your tired.

  • @romney27 Say something worth replying to and you'll get one. I have no time for criticisms of my "tone" and other vague nonsense.

  • @dar "Meaning" is subjective, are you not really discussing "origin"? Do you not know that the human brain has evolved to "fill in the gaps" and literally stores memories based on "emotional strength"? In other words humans make up stories in order to assign and emotional value to the symbolism's they construct so that the memories have a context and can endure long term storage. There is no way for you to determine how and what those processes are for anyone but yourself. the science proves it.

  • Lol hahahahahaahahahhhaahahahahhahaahahhahaha..........MERRY SOL INVICTUS

  • You must be an Irish!

  • Im am not a big Chritian but please do me favour and not confuse the believe with the poeple in it,i you love religous studys you awo it to everyone.Stop blameing the believe.

  • @renier644 Learn to spell.

  • @darrylsloan Did you take a look at Islam?

  • @darrylsloan - did you ever think this person isn't from America and is doing their best to write in English? Could you understand their meaning? Are YOU perfect?

  • @MrSammy97 Pardon me for criticising illiteracy. I should be more sensitive to the low attention spans of today's youth, who can't even spare a moment to see what's actually coming out on the screen in front of them as they type.

  • @darrylsloan Fix my browser! Then i can spell beter..and i did upgrade.the whole argument and you say learn to spell. nice

  • @renier644 its not about "blame" a religion.. but the fact is: christianity stole all of our origin, native religion... im from europe and before christianity took over, there was pure polytheism! and we were happy with it! Christmas was the "rebirth off the sun".. the daylight comes earlier and lasts longer after 21.12 ... and they linked it to the "mitras" or "sol invictus".. you know what? please dont take every word in your bible so serious. do some research.thats how you learn :)

  • @renier644 ignorant christian piece of shit, go back to school! no wonder all christians are such suckers!!!!

  • Great Video.....no religion is the truth.

  • Islam is the truth :-)

  • @munchlim no it isn't. Islam, like all the other organized religions are based on pre history myths, legends and ceremony. If you can't see that, then you need to do some research.

  • This is one of your best videos

  • I love your YouTube videos

  • I'm going to post this video onto my facebook account, sit back and wait for the offended responses of my Christian family and friends. I can't understand how, even after being presented with this kind of information, people still insist on dismissing it and carry on touting the, so called, Christian significance of Christmas! May I also use your response to 'TheLueii' about Pope Julius I, to present your video on my fb, please, Darryl ? x

  • @summersun2828 Certainly. Thanks.

  • @summersun2828 It's called ignorance.

  • i renounced my faith (christianity) 3 yrs ago.

interesting video, have a cool yule. from Leeds xx

  • @ViperXMambo You could...you could also interpret

what I said to mean that I want to skip rope with your intestines if we stretch it enough. Speaking of which, only the author will ever know the intentions behind his work. When he dies his work will be judged when he is unable to defend it. A similar thing can be said of actions. Here the actions of men long dead are being critiqued and, dare I say, slandered. The arrogance by which he assumes he knew these mens intents and heart is astouding.

  • @TheLueii Follow your line of reasoning to its logical conclusion and no one is allowed to make a judgement call about anything that's been written in the past - which is just silly. The pagan origins of Christmas is plain, and isn't even denied by intelligent Christians. Why do you have such a problem with it?

  • @darrylsloan Darry....these men who defined christmas as the 25th of December....do you have any direct information on these people on which to base the statements you have. Perhaps comtemporary information on their supposed dishonesty? Did you just read "John Chrysostom defined 25th of December as Christmas" and from there cry “liar” without any evidence of dishonesty? hat is what my reasoning is. You have nothing to base your opinion that they were intentionally dishonest...

  • @TheLueii In 350 AD, Pope Julius I declared 25 Dec to be Christ's birthday. Do you think he had some special reason for picking this date, other than to aid the conversion of the pagans? What are the chances this date just happened to be the VERY SAME DATE as the rebirth of various pagan sun gods. And what are the chances that Easter coincided with YET ANOTHER solstice/equinox, which again had pagan significance? Wake up.

  • Minor note: Sol should be pronounced "soul" (or thereabouts) not "Saul" -- Probably best just to ignore me.

  • Jeez! you are so blinded! you have been double bluffed here!!

  • @mybeautifulearth And your argument is ... ? Or should be just take that one on faith?

  • Sorry to hear you’re no longer Christian & u spent all this time researching NOTHING instead of praying. I hope, Lord will give you & other non-believers a 2nd chance 2 convert before you die & find out that there is heaven & hell.

My church doesn’t celebrate Christmas on the 25th! Our Christmas & Easter days fluctuate because the dates are meaningless. Remembering what Lord did 4 us is more important to us than the DATES. We worship GOD, the creator of all!

    Merry Christmas everyone!!!

  • @ETbeauty You call this "researching nothing"? I should have been praying rather than thinking? What a pitiful, unreasonable argument.

  • @ETbeauty Hell is not in the Old Testament, nor is the devil. These were inventions made to scare people to death in order to keep control of people. The Roman Catholic Church is a trillion dollar corporation. There is absolutely no evidence that a man called Jesus walked this planet. The Hebrew Messiah was to be born from the City of David, Not Bethlehem, by two human parents. This is what the old testament states. Why, would god fool the Jews? Make a new religion? .....Money.

  • Happy Winter Solstice, everyone!

  • yes we still live in rome today;

  • Great video. It's amazing the number of people who are still duped by this whole literal Christian/Jesus Christ thing. But, among other things, it goes to show the results of brainwashing children (adults would never lie to me!) and how if a large enough group believes something, it must be true.

  • @ElectroPagan These days, I actually do think Jesus was a historical character. There's evidence to support that, but no evidence to support the supernatural claims about him.

  • @darrylsloan

My view is that JC is simply a re-incarnation/re-telling of the ancient solar myths which are largely symbolic.

Now, could there have been a guy walking around teaching some of the things in the Bible which prevent one from generating bad karma? Of course.

And he also probably looked very Nordic...being from the Middle East and all.

    Happy Solstice to you.

  • Ramblings of a fool. If you dont believe Christ ever existed then why would you care when Christians celebrate His birthday. I agree Dec 25 is pagan holiday. Could he have ulterior motives?

  • @1meangrizzly So, telling the truth about the origins of Christmas makes me a rambling fool, huh? Wow, another brilliantly insightful Christian.

  • @darrylsloan LOL,,,

  • Well, Darryl, I hear what you are saying... You are obviously Irish & probably ex-Catholic which makes it harder for those of us who are neither to comment. However, from a Protestant English viewpoint I have to ask, DO YOU THINK WE ARE STUPID? We know that Cmas and Easter are annexed pagan festivals, we know they aren't the 'correct' dates, we know about Sol et al & we don't care! We celebrate the life of a real person, chronicled in contempory testimonials. When, where & how are irrelevent! xx

  • @NosyHorse Well, shoot me for stating something that somebody else already knows. If you're going to voice a criticism, at least make it a real one. Furthermore, there is nothing "irrelevant" about pointing out the lies on which Christity was built, so as to convert the pagans.

  • Yeah. This is what it all means. One point you didn't mention was Horace. The first so called messiah. He is written about on the pyramids and has all the same characteristics as Jesus, Visnu, Dyansis among others. I really don't know how anyone believes in the Catholic religion anymore. Fear of death is my only guess. It's basically the worlds biggest cult...

  • Very nice, happy solstice from another exchristian

  • faith by definition is to believe with out evidence

but when there is evidence out there to be learned and you dont seek it out

    then faith becomes ignorance

  • @coltsrule5150 AMEN! I was member of the Mormon Church until I researched their beginings and found out that they believe that the God of the Bible is not Spirit but is "flesh and bone" as we are flesh and bone. They also believe that God himself in his flesh and bone body came to earth to "physically" conceive Jesus and not in the manner which is written in the Scriptures. That is why I started researching the origans of Christmas, Easter, and finally the birth of the Messiah.

  • @braven117, as an atheist I will give an example against your sacred pope, the pope is an old man who is elected by other old men as head of the catholic church there is nothing divine about it, I can hold an election between my friends and whe can declare him head of the church of friends. Do you see any difference between those two situations? At Petrus his time it was also a small group of people who saw him as pope.

  • We are warned, beware false teachings. I Tim 4:1-5 Paul prophesied the deception of world in latter days and warns “avangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.” But is this being done? New information on the TRUE birthday of Jesus by Scripture and ancient astrology is available. Jesus was born in a stable and according to the Jewish calendar, on September 11, 3BC. His CONCEPTION was in December not his birth. Search for "Birth of Christ Recalculted" and be blessed with the truth.

  • @msexie The birth jesus was not september 11 thats a lie

  • @jcade79 Revelations5:5 "And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the LION of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David . . ." John is refering to Jesus (Yeshua being his Hebrew name) as the LION. He was born under the sign of LEO, September 11. The Magi were astrologers who followed the sign of the stars. Again in Rev.22:16 Jesus refers to himself, "Ian the root and the offspring of David, and thebright and morning star. Where do you think all the Churches today got their teachings?

  • @jcade79 Don't believe me? Do as I did and research it yourself. Most churches are following doctrines of men by following the teachings like Christ-Mass which became shortened to Christmas from the early Roman Catholic Church. The following is from the Catholic Encyclopedia, "Christmas was not among the earliest festivals of the Church . . . The first evidence of the feast is from Egypt . . .Pagan customs centering around the January calends gravitated to Christmas".

  • nice on dude, but jesus was born before december why was jesus there?. it was because of easter and easter comes before december.

  • you know what's sad ... people refusing the truth ...

  • BOW YOUR HEADS & HAIL SATAN YOU DAMNED FAGGOT SHEEP !

    ps

    MERRY CHRISTMAS !

  • The Illuminati

  • thank the catholic church...be happy you figured it out ALL ..

  • Dec 25th- Nimrod of Babylon's Birthday....Baal worship!

  • that accent...ur irish....and u completely understand the TRUE MEANING of this holiday and have no problem letting people know...i just fell in love lol marry me?! jkjk thank you for making this video i have been looking for something like this :)

  • thank you so much for his video, it clarified a lot of things I knew already so I can explain it better. It's important for people to understand simple basics of religious origins such as this....

  • You are right, its all about the sun worship and the 25th Dec is the first day after the winter solstice

  • barbarafromcanada

For me,Christmas is Christmas, mayby its all a big lie,but traditionaly a lot of people will continue to celebrate. Its a time for family, giving, loving and peace on earth, mayby not very political correct, but something to look forward to,as pagans look forward to yule, its not about who is better then the other or who is right or wrong,I am not a religious person ,but even if sombody decided to declare Peter Pan a holiday, hey go for it,as long as it dont hurt no one.

  • @barbarafromcanada the dangerous part is doing something because it feels good regardless if its good or evil.youre not religious but christmass is a religious holiday.you can give gifts anytime of year for any reason why do it because of something you know is a lie?

  • Like I side before if lots of Christians would have it there way they would take freedom of religion away from people like me. I also feel that lots of christian's, and not all but a lot, are just mad that people are going back to the old religions and are looking out side Christianity. Sorry christians were not going back to the 1950's.

  • The church deliberately turned the pagan celebrations into something good. So what is wrong with that?

  • @susan26able How are you going to say that pagan religion is bad? I think you don't have ANY wisdom in this subject what so ever. So just sit down and be quite, and be a close minded christian. You need to do a little more research on the subject of paganism, and not listen to what the " wonderful church" tells you what paganism is in there eyes. C

  • Christianity is not the same as a true christian(one who is saved or having their sins put away /forgiven.

  • Who cares I love pagan holidays.

  • Santa Claus is an anagram for Satan Lucas

  • Another interesting, thought provoking video. My view is that all religions are man-made and are designed for the sole wants and whims of the inventors.

  • Try Nimrod. Born on Dec 25 long before both Jesus (Cesare Borgia) and Sol Invictus. The whole christmas tree event is spoken of in Jeremiah 10 long before the birth of Christ. Easter is a pagan fertility celebration for the goddess Ishtar (Eastre). Christians are ignoratly pagan. Accept the truth, put down the idols, and follow the Most High AHAYAH ASHER AHAYAH and his son Yashaya.

  • This isn't new information. And quite frankly the church father had nothing to do with setting the holidays. So no need to blame our "forefathers" (seeing as priest weren’t supposed to have kids) See it as Christianity putting it's banner in the heart of those gods, days, and symbols and using them as a flag, perhaps justly or unjustly,to Lord over pagans and claim dominance over that day. What Easter and Yule/Sol Invictus were is unimportant. What they became is what matters.

  • @TheLueii These comments remind me of when the israelites left egypt and worshipped a golden calf (an egyptian pagan idol). BUT they justified it by calling it "a festival to Jehovah." No matter what they meant this celebration to be, they knew that it was wrong to use idols and images...even when worshipping the true god.....many of those israelites died for that. origins matter to god...he obviously does not want his own name tied to anything that wasn't deemed acceptable by him.

  • @jonboy4lifehotmail Yet Paul when he came to Athens used the altar to the Unknown God as the Springboard to his sermon to the Athenians. Indeed we took the solstice long claimed by the Pagans of the west and took it back for it's true master.

  • @TheLueii: quote "seeing as priest weren’t supposed to have kids", 1Tim 3:1-6. God, gad, gawd, a babylonian deity of fortune, H1408. Lord, name for Ba'al, Hosea 2:17, Jer 23:27. Church, derived from circus in turn a masonic/jesuit circus. Rev 12:9, 2Tim 2:15.

  • @TheLueii You're good at spinning. You should be a politician.

  • @darrylsloan you should read a book called, "heaven is for real" Im not trying to argue right here, but it seems like your interested in the subject of God. I suggest you check it out, its about a kid who dies and claims to have gone to heaven before he was revived. Its a good book and it will make you think, regardless of you beliefs.

  • @AuroraSunset Any book where sensational claims are made without any evidence to back them up is a con. And let's face it, this kid can't exactly offer evidence of having gone to heaven, am I right?

  • @darrylsloan Well you have to read it, The kid is 5 years old mind you. Theres no physical evidence but when he comes back he knows things about his family that he shouldn't know, like his mother had a miscarage, and he claims to have met the child in heaven, and he knows about his fathers childhood when he comes back, and there is loads of other stuff. To me, it is evidence, but it's all about the way you percieve it. If you want to look at both sides of the debate check it out.

  • @AuroraSunset There's a huge difference between a child knowing things he shouldn't be able to know, and the writer of the book CLAIMING that the child knows things he shouldn't be able to know. In all honesty, books like this are a dime a dozen. They sell because people love to be amazed. Check out my critique of Doreen Irvine's "From Witchcraft to Christ" for an example, and my video on "Truth-seeker pitfalls."

  • @darrylsloan yeah you make a good point, There's no real proof, its all a taste of faith I guess.

  • @TheLueii precisely, I agree totally with you. It only takes basic common sense to understand this, but people who lack that, just simply find fault to anything and everything.

  • @TheLueii I could interpret this as "it doesn't matter what their religion/culture was as long as they are Christian/Westernized now"

  • I always thought Christmas had lost it's meaning because of Santa and a bunch of capitalist bastards. But with this new information assimilated in my brain, I think it's safe to say that the log cake is a lie.

  • It wasnt even called Christmas in the times your talking about. People are still stuck on the past. Times has change. Is that what christmas is like now??? nope!

  • @LOVE4NAILSNHAIR: quote "Times has change"

    Malachi 3:6 For I am YHWH, I change not;

Proverbs 24:21 My son, fear thou YHWH and the king: and meddle not with them that are given to change:

  • thumbs up christmas is pagan

  • @MrFrowzy My friend, the word "god" is used by pagan and used by Christians. It's a pagan word, you may say. So when Christians say they believe in God, do they worship just "a new name" for a pagan god? Look at the content in the jar. The content makes the kind of jar it is.

  • @GodIsSovereignty: H1408, god, gad, gawd, a Babylonian deity of fortune.

Ex 23:13 And in all things that I have said unto you be circumspect: and make no mention of the name of other elohim, neither let it be heard out of thy mouth.

  • @MinisterQuietBuck What about Jesus? Is Jesus the name of other elohim?

  • @GodIsSovereignty: Yes, the J name (J, last letter to alphabet)(not found on any scroll) defines as horse, earth pig, zeus. Read Ex 3:14-15, Fathers name is YHWH (I AM, TO BE, Hayah). Then read Jn 5:43 and what Messiah (Mess - food, i(y)ah - YHWH, food of YHWH) says. Also Is 7:14, Immanuel (YHWH w/ us). Yet Matt 1:21 changes this, yet YHWH does not change, Mal 3:6. The deceiver has done well at deception. Jer 8:8, the lying pen of the scribes.
