  • Would be good video if had some lighting in the room

  • @1PhatHarleyOwner

I know the lighting is dim, but we all could see reasonably well what I needed to see. If you want better feeding videos, I encourage you to watch the later videos I am currently on video 83...I now film during the day time in full lighting. Its still a good video but it's incredibly to hold a pair of tongs and a flashlight while filming.

  • Jon I have to say those goliath worms are probably the most disdusting looking insect i have ver set my eyes on! :S The tarantulas seem to like them though!

  • do goliath worms bite?

  • @tmacguy

    yes they can

  • Are those worms expensive????

  • @ramos2533M

    they are. $1,65 each

  • God damn how many T's do you have?

  • @notoriousheen

    116 Ts

  • @Jon3800 Is it possible to tell how many times a spider has molted if you have already made a video answering this quest please don't respond

  • @Jack5458

The only way you can determine this is to buy a spiderling and keep a record of their molts. Otherwise it's impossible to tell

  • why dont u turn on the light

    does that 2 worm glow

    u have alot of spiders

  • @hahahalolxd2000

the lights are on...I have poor lighting in the room. This was the last time I film feeding videos in the dark..If you see the ones after 19, they are in broad daylight.

  • @hahahalolxd2000

    You are an idiot.

  • @MacintoshVintage i think that was my brother he can hack into my profiles when ever he wants and i cant stop him coz hes bigger and alot stronger

  • why dont u turn on the light

    does that 2 worm glow

  • Those weren't adult goliaths were they?

MY plant in my house has some goliath worms that are bigger than my god damn hand!

  • @LuisReefTank

most likely these would be subadults

  • wow your so brave having these as pets! Which is the most dangerous one?

  • @BinweevilsAngel

my featherleg baboon is the most dangerous

  • fantastic,u did a great job

  • I subscribed:)

  • They sure loved those wormy catapillar like things.

  • @vaatithewindmage

those are THE best food item for Ts. A lot healthier than mice

  • @Jon3800 I hear that mice are too much calcium for Tarantulas plus they fight back and can cause injury.

  • @vaatithewindmage

they do and its not good to feed them, plus their tanks need to be cleaned because of the smell, and the bones they leave behind. Roaches or these worms are far more nutritious.

If you remember RobC's vid where he had a P.regalis that suffered a bad molt. Well It turns out that from his comments that the owner that he bought it from fed her nothing but mice.

  • @Jon3800 I do believe those are called tobacco hornworms. They become a very beautiful moth. Granted, my spiders love those things too. I feed them those sparingly though because they are pretty hard to come by.

  • @NagatoPein88

no kidding. These are $2 each

  • wat wud u recommed as some ones first tarantula

  • @MrSpiderk4

There's many I recommend, but the info you give me is too little. Species like B.smithi, B.emilia, A.avicularia, E.campestratus, E.weijenberghi and B.albopilosum are top choices. I believe you ask me this before?

  • a question for ur Stromatopelma Calceatum. Is it aggressive or not? On a german website they say its a realy aggressive T that has a strong venom for Ts.

But she looks realy nice a BEAUTIFUL T so i want to buy one :D

  • @Chillterra

the website is correct. They are a really high strung, totally fearless, have been known to charge and they have stronger venom.

  • U got some really cool tarantulas congrats man but I think that maybe u should ad some light for them. Congrats

Ps I just hope u don't experience an earthquake...else you'll have a hart time looking for them..

  • @Sexisttroll

thanks a lot. Ya I realize light was a very big issue in these videos so I started filming them during day time.

    Lol, I wouldn't want that happening :)

  • why u dont have more light in ur room and why u dont le the tarantula get the worms for herself?

  • @oscarmbp

That is the only light fixture I have in this room, I cannot have more lightining. Since then, I only film feeding videos in the day. Worms burrow so you have to make sure they get it, or else they burrow deep in the ground and pupate

  • We have lots of those in our yard =o

And Jon , can you feed your T's house roaches?

  • i wouldn't. Who knows what they can be infected with

  • youve got a nice collection of Ts

  • ive heard good things about the pulchras.. they do have big fangs... i like your boehmei, i like the auratums also.. .i may get an e murinis.. obt sling... i like gbb's too. and i deff want a pokie, actully a metallica, ornata, regalis, and rufilata... and a scolopendra subspineps

  • and a p irminas!!! thatll be my next abroreal for sure

  • awesome!

  • @CIarkNova

Sorry for the EXTREMELY late reply, it's not often like me to miss comments, but pulchra's make good beginner Ts. Yup they do have big fangs, but they can be slightly moody but not as bad as G.rosea

  • are the goliath worms ready at petstores?

  • they are but they're not cheap

  • how much are they like, £10 G.B.P?

  • theyre about $1.65 each canadian

  • thats fairly cheap to me.

  • its actually pretty expensive if you buy a dozen

  • not really for me i usually spend £50 on tarantula food x D

  • what do you like by for that I spend $30 (£15) for all the 65Ts

  • i just generally buy everything i see but the £50 lasts me the whole year .

  • not sure, but try caterpillargiraffe

  • and yes they're venomous, some species like the ornamentals are more powerful

  • no, snakes are bit too high maintenance for me, and I just don't have enough space

  • awsome are they catilpilars or soemthing? a nice fat snack i bet. for spiders cant beilive i didnt see this vid. yet

  • well kinda, they grow into moths when they mature

  • wer do u buy ur food

  • pet store

  • Nice Vid :))

  • great vid man !

i was wunderin if u cud help :s

    cheers owen

  • could be in premolt

  • I have those at my local store too jon, however my new B. Albo is a little too young still for one. And they sure as hell are expensive $1.67 each!!!

  • ya its true, we get them here for $1.65 each. They're good once in a while treats

  • really small abdomen on the E. murius. Is it supposed to be that way or have'nt she eaten in a while? really nice T's

  • they're burrowing Ts, so they have smaller abdomens. She's fed 2 adult crickets a week

  • hey, i have been searching everywhere for a Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens but no look :( they are really hard to get hold of! could you please make a video about yours because i am trying to get as much information about it as i can before i finally purchase one.

    Thanks :)

  • did you try looking for them online?

  • yes, ive looked everywhere, i can't find one for sale whos owner is willing to ship it to the UK :(

  • I would check up on the BTS website, unfortunately i don't know what dealers are available in the UK. And btw, I did your request

  • how do you get the cool banner over your description

  • im a youtube partner

  • if I were those worms only a few words would go throught my mind, OUCH-KA-BIBBLE!

  • awesome vid man 5 stars

  • Great vid!!!

  • thanks rob, I kinda feel bad for your blondi's injuries, I'd leave him :)

  • Hey dude! i really liked the video.. but what were those things again??

  • the spiders are tarantulas, and the feeders are goliath worms

  • are they caterpilars?

  • sorta. Feed them to your Ts when they're least 3 inch or bigger

  • Yummy! They seemed to enjoy those. Chris

  • wher do you get those worms

  • you can buy them from pet stores

  • the cameraman having a seizure?

  • ya, you can tell he was scared :)

  • hey jon my rose hair has a slightly dark brownish blakish spot on the abdomon but its not fullly black does that meen its getting ready for pre-molt?

  • looks like it

  • awsome vid jon!!! I cant belife those golioth worms, there like terquosie blue

  • i know lol

  • WOW Jon now that was an awsome feeding video when you said Goliath worms I thought you meant like the Goliath meal worms but man those worms you were using were weird looking I have never seen those before I was going to ask you if they were good for the T but I am sure they are cause I know you wouldn't feed your T's anything that would harm them but anyways man that was a great feeding video had a lot of my favorite Ts in there oh and that close up on your G. pulckra and her fangs was sweet.

  • They have good nutrition. I'll buy some every now and then, but not every feeding ;)

  • Sweet dude. Crickets must of been like eating mcdonalds all the time and those goliath worms must of been like getting a 60 dollar steak. lol Because they were just at them!

  • I agree, a great treat, I'll buy them once in a while

  • lol to think if that spider would move a bit while im in the room...

    I would pis my self.

You got some strong nerves or you just watch to much spier man xD

  • I got strong nerves lol :)

  • Umm im going to take that as you love spider man lol

  • Is it me or are they glowing blue in the light...also those things look MASSIVE! The terrestrials seem much more keen on them than the arbs.

  • they are glowing blue lol, they're green in person

  • I'm not sure, these were given to me for free. I'd expect them to be slightly more than crickets. I'll let you know

  • i just bought a chaco golden knee or maybe it's a zebra white knee. i bought it because they were keepng her completely wrong. they used sand as substrate, not even a quarter of an inch of sand and no hide. i couldn't just leave her their. i was expecting it to molt. now it's on its back. and it's been their for a couple hours. and it didnt molt. i know it's not dead but it's not molting. sorry for long comment. P.S. the pet store didnt even know what kind it was.

  • make a video or a pic of it, and i'll tell you.

  • sometimes they take a while to molt my chilean rose was on her back overnight

  • thanks she's was succesful on the molt. should i be concerened if the molt has a liquid in the middle.

  • haha that's like me driving from my house over to prest river idaho!! and quebec is a providence? I thaught it was part of ontario oh well I guess I was rong!

  • its one of Canada's provinces, no part of ontario, its a french speaking province that originally wanted to separate to become a country

  • huh that's werd

  • its pretty sad, but it flopped over, its Canada's only different province, everywhere else is english

  • how long ago did they want to become a countery??
