I know what you mean about the audience not applauding more...I believe that based on the outstanding quality of her performance, the rare phenomenon occured when the audience is just too in awe of her performance that they lose themselves in it. It's sad that the dancer doesn't feel appreciated when that happens! That's probably the case here--just such good dancing, everyone was awed to quiet!
