For everyone dissing this vid, I saw Pete back up Lee Ritenour and pat Metheney and play amazingly. He played all week long with students and artists at a guitar workshop in Montana. He is an incredible musician and teacher. Hello? its a vid for workshop live lessons. You'd think it'd be a kinda striaght forward woudn't ya?

think of it this way, if the playing can be incorporated into a song, its most likely not a solo

This is not a drum solo.

It's just drums,  solo. Some beats and some fills. Same groove all the time.

A drumsolo is a story, told by drums. You need passion for that.

Wow... Lovely feel and great rhythm.

I love the sound of that nice crisp sounding snare and that great thump of the bass. The bass compliments the cymbals sound as well.
