  • i agree with everyting he said except two things (i dont dissagree with but i see it form a diffrent angle), firstly in my experiance people usualy get the elf to hold flower(s) and secondly the group dating thing, i think that the "LDS Prom" is Supposed to be for couples (But it does, sort of, go against the churche's polocy about going steady)

  • But the church doesn't want to encourage "exclusive" dating? But they can not go alone or with friends? Why no non-lds? That can't look good for us LDS to the other denominations. Why can't the girls ask the guys or help pay? That's not how it is after you get married, I'll tell you that much...I think they have gone a little overboard with this- I'd probably let my daughter just go to the "regular" prom if she wanted to. Glad that isn't here.

  • exclusive dating for a while closes your eyes to othere opportunities or erm... fish in the sea.

non lds need interviews so you know they aren't freeloaders...

yes they have gone a little overboard.

but i think they want guys to be less shy in dating. they have to go as date so as to encourage dating and not just hangin out.
