the board might be shit. but i can tell you one thing about it.. ive had the k7vt6 since 2005 and its still hasnt burnt out yet. its incredibly stable and has never crashed once. no blue screens nothing. its been great.. the bad side is 400 fsb and only 2 gig mem cap. when it was new it supported the very latest and top of the range xp chipsets from amd too.. very good board in its day.

@Armornone Not many. Most of the mobo makers are based in Taiwan. On the other hand, Intel, AMD, and nVidia are all North American companies making chipsets, while VIA is pretty much the only Asian chipset maker left. In other words, most mobos use American chipsets, but are made in Taiwan.
