trust me, I've been in England for 2 years now, one of my biggest music pet peeves is when British bands try and sound "extra" British... and for a long time one of the best examples was this band... until I found out they were American! I was shocked and even more pissed off that others had begun to "immitate" the sound.

But I've never been to New England nor been introduced to its accent, so maybe you've got something there.
