@jitu757 - The IKEA Jerker. Probably the best birthday present I ever got. When I sold my house that was one of the items the buyers requested at closing.
wow that is awesome! i hav been trying to manage my cables but hav not been as successful as u =(. I would also like to say that it is great to find somebody on youtube who is very knowledgeable and also one that does not let personal bias come into play. keep making great videos!
Thanks. I was sort of putting off because we have our house up for sale. I figured that once I did it then the house would sell and I'd have to pull it down to move.
Very nice. I see you got the second monitor. Where did you get them again? And do you perfer Gateway monitors over NEC, SAMSUNG, DELL? Which do you recomend?
I picked them up from Best Buy. I really don't have a preference when it comes to monitors. I've owned Acer, Samsung and now the Gateways. As far as recommendations....I guess it depends. If you're talking about gaming then I'd say go with the Dell Ultrasharp models. If you're talking about general multimedia, business apps or Solitaire then most of brands carried by retail stores will do. If you're talking professional graphx then Eizo, NEC and Apple
THIS is nothing! I have maybe 6 times more cables!

LoL!! I'd need even more cable management with an iMac - external hard drive(s), external USB hubs, external card reader.......

@ringuete - That's on the drawing board for 2011 now that Apple has released a matching 27in monitor. Stay tuned......

I'll have to do some cable management at my desk too. But I got SO MANY cables I don't know what to do. But will hopefully find out how to do it.

It's not that hard but it's time consuming. The biggest thing you'll need is time.
IridiumVIII 2 years ago
how did you do it
nameis12396 2 years ago
Cable ties, wire loom, velcro bands and about 2 hours free time.

Very good job Iridium.. this is clean!
This is definitly something I have to do. Mine is not horribly bad but its not really clean and tidy. I'm waiting for a new desk to motivate me :)

Nice job! It's definitely a challenge, but it looks awesome!

Thanks and you're right. It's always a challenge but the benefits overall outweigh the challenge. Floor cleaning is 10 times easier now.
