work on your groove more dude... when you shed to a track i find it best to try and play to the feel of the drummer on the song, because that allows you to diversify your styles; become multifaceted.

Oh yeah, definately work on some rudiments

and most importantly, tune your snare up a shitload, only Gadd and a few other cats can pull of a snare that low

This guy is a terrible drummer. He doesnt play to the context of the song, and his feel for the style is mediocre. His groove is inconsistent in sound quality and he rushes the beat and ignores the laid back feel of Marvin Gaye. I hope this guy has been practicing.
