Oh for gods sake. I believe the phrase is 'get a fucking life'. Nick has legs and walks in the street. If youre impressed by that then really there is no hope for you.
He's a very private guy. It's incongruent with what he represents. I've met him a couple of times and each time he tries to conceal himself as if he doesn't want anyone to know who he is. Bit difficult when you look like a cross between a rock star and a cowboy.
I bumped into David Gilmour the other week while walking my dog. Same sort of behaviour and he's such a sweet, gentle man.
I guess it's about showing respect for what anyone wants.
@Django5198 Dave Gilmour lives, among several other places, in Hove. If every famous musician in Brighton and Hove got together, they could turn this place into a real attraction instead of the scruffy mess it is right now.
@Darryld1 Ah caome on man Brighton rocks!!!! Some parts are kinda shitty but overrall I think it's a great place. I went into that guitar shop in the North Lanes a couple of years ago and happened to see Gary Moore (RIP) jammin' in there. So there seem to be several rock legends walking around Brighton atm
@Django5198 the people of Brighton are what rocks, not the place itself. the place is an over rated, expensive dump. If Western road, North road, West street and everything on them went missing, I wouldn't miss a thing. i've been here for almost 15 years and it's not getting any better.
I met Gary Moore and Peter Green (Lives near Horsham) in a pub, in Brighton a couple of years ago. I'm nobody in particular and i'm not trying to find famous people, it's all just coincidences.
My husband was looking out of the window as there was a bit of commotion at St Andrew's Chuch just outside, and he shouted "oh my god Nick Cave's outside!!!", so we started filming. He'd been watching either The Insect Circus or The Devil May Drag You Under (part of Brighton Fringe Festival), can't remember which.
Hahaha, no, I hope he didn't know I was filming. Yeah, it started to rain, so he began to run up the street, but he kept trying to take a short cut through the mews, then would realise it was a dead end and come running out. He must've done that about 3 times, bless him. I should've kept it running when he turned the corner, cos a couple of seconds later he appeared. I gave a little cheer when he finally went down a side street that would lead him out of the street.

Lol that's pretty cool. My mum went to see Peter Green about 9 years ago when I was too young and I met Albert Lee briefly after a gig in worthing.

So were you listening to Grinderman when it happened or did you just put it on after you saw him? Either way it's fucking amazing!!!

The Bee's Mouth is one of my favourite places to drink in Brighton. They do a cocktail called a Bohemian Raspberry - what more do you want in life?!
