  • Sublime.

  • Emouvante video. Très belle interprétation, simple et réussie.

  • Kadosh also.

I just returned from Israel yesterday again. So many of these pieces continue to connect me spiritually when I am away. Thank you YouTube for providing all of this rich ethnic and spiritual music as well as the opera and classical music. Your choosing to do this is a mitzvah.

  • Why don't we give up political and racist comments and enjoy this beautiful acapella arrangement? Music overrides all prejudices.

  • It's the most impressive jewish group I ever heard, in my humble opinion.

  • jerusalem de oro

  • Sublime..

  • A jewish song and nearly no NS-comments. I'm astonished.

  • What a beautiful song! I just love it.

  • The state of Israel has poisoned the star of David flag with their evil. History will show that this flag is a symbol of oppression, murder and humiliation, a greater and more evil symbol than the swastika ever was

  • @wigram DEATH TO PALESTINE

  • @wigram Miss Hitler much?

  • QUE O SENHOR VOS ABENÇOE E VOS GUARDO. vOZES DE ANJOS CELESTIAIS

  • @TersinaKassabian67 don't spam

  • When your messiah will come, Jew?

  • @bjcasper He has already come-you didn't have much to worry about then, he came as Messiah ben Josef, the suffering Messiah, The Lamb of G-d. What you have to worry about is when He returns as Messiah ben David, The LION of Judah, The Deliverer of Israel from all their enemies. You will cry out for the mountains to crush you rather than to face His wrath. Every knee will bow and every tongue confess that "Jesus is LORD" to the glory of God the Father. Bow now, or bow later.

  • @bjcasper you'll know

  • Rich, deep and moving. Great intonation and balance and contrast...

    Thanks you

  • Simply Breathtaking. Wow. It just leaves me speechless.

  • Jerusalem is Jewish always was and always will be!

  • ...see what professional singers can do??? <3 it! bless them!

  • OMG this is extraordinary! I love it!

  • Extraordinário.

  • brings tear to my eyes, beautiful

  • Wonderful version of this wonderful song!

  • Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing.

Look, your house is left to you desolate.

For I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord

  • Excellent performance

  • WOW!

  • The best I've heard so far! Just divine!

  • AWESOME we love ISRAEL

  • I remember one joke from bolshewick era:

In Moscow an Jew is studying Hebrew language and milicioner (policeman during comunist era in Russia) came to him and say:

"Do not plough the sand learning this language. We will never let you to go to Izrael."

"Well," replaid Jew. "But if I die and go to Heaven, I wish to make understood."

"And what, if you go to Hell?"

"No problem, Russian language I know perfectly."

  • Ha ha

  • @AdlerKarel your joke made me laugh ^^ love it

  • @AdlerKarel Shalom Brother.thats cool!but true nevertheless!AM YISRAEL CHAI.shalom yerushalaim in YESHUA'S NAME,AMEN>

  • @MrJim411 Well, yes. I keep remember, how stupid was the communist propaganda about Erezt Israel and after possibility to meet "Palestinians" I became zionist sympathizer. And Jewish autonomous area somewhere placed near Amur on far east Siberia could be hardly manifestation of pro-jews politics of bolshewicks. The only good thing was backing of Israel existence in 1948.

  • @AdlerKarel king thanks for taking time to reply.Shalom.am yisrael chai! best joke with a whole world of meaning.

  • @AdlerKarel hehehe not bad :P Still...one would imagine to have in the early soviet days under lenin and while bronstein was still there that jews had a better life then in czarist russia. Then again i have no idea being descendent of polish jewish family

  • @AdlerKarel

Rather stupid joke IMHO - even more, there is no concept of hell in Jewish tradition - only some analogy of purgatory.

  • @timfidotru fool its a JOKE thats why it doesnt matter if there is a hell in judaism which btw...there is its called Gehennom or sumthing long time since i been religious...either way its a joke...i cant stand people like you! lol

and before u say "bla bla ur a 16 year old i am so dont."

  • @AdlerKarel Cara gostei desta piada, valeu Vou adaptar no humor brasileiro

  • This is so beautiful. Kadosh Kadosh Kadosh Yerushalayim!

  • klassna!!

  • Hey there, you wouldn't be able to tell me where I could acquire the sheet music for this arrangement of yerushalayim shel zahav?

  • MY PEOPLE!!!!

  • I cry when I hear this. Many friends gave their lives.

  • Tears run down hearing this, it moves me so much.....

  • i cry like a baby when i hear this

  • Ich weine, wenn ich das höre

I cry while listening to the song

    je pleurs entendant cette chanson

  • i luv this sopng. but not this version. 3 yrs ago at my school we had to learn and sing this song for our Israeli Fair. it was Fun!

  • am i the only one that feels chills when i listen to this?

  • you're not the only one

  • I like Phish's version better

  • phish's version really is amazing, by far the best thing on that album

  • Could you post a link to the Phish version, please.

  • nice song. powerful, emotive.

  • I feel almost unworthy of listening to this, it is simply beautiful.

  • Absolutely beautiful.

  • Can't beat a Russian all-male choir to send chills down your spine.

  • the east kept true worship of G_D with its voices, the west became an abomination with its introduction of man made musical instruments(self entertainment and worship of self a priority). How beautiful this truly is!

  • ...ma?

  • Beautiful song! Long live Israel

  • Thank you, what a wonderful a cappell version - very powerful and passionate. Happy Yom Yerushalayim June 2 2008!

  • Israeli people! Peace!

  • wow...super awesome

  • I was moved to see the Israeli flag on this video from Russia, knowing how it was being sung by Russian Jews. How only 20 years ago this would have been impossible.

  • Some of them are well buff-looking. Oh, and it's a nice song.

  • bien dicho

  • Gerusalemme, irrinunciabile capitale d'Israele e dell'Ebraismo, città Ebraica per storia e tradizioni dove i monoteismi dall'Ebraismo derivati dovrebbero convivere in pace rispettando e riconoscendo i "fratelli maggiori",

    Shalom

  • sounds great.

  • I love you more Israel

  • Very moving.

  • beautiful melody! God bless Israel.

  • Great performance.

  • My life, Israel!

  • As a Christian who has visited and still has close friends in the Holy Land of Jesus I have only two comments: Beautiful song and melody

and Long may the one true God bless and protect

the people and the land of Israel

  • Przepieknie.

    Shalom

  • LONG LIVE ISRAEL. JOHN 3:3

  • Simply stellar.

  • ... and who wouldn´t dream of being the poet for the songs of Jerusalem? ... Greetings to all and thankx for the post!

Shalom

  • im not jew im mexican most of the people have hatred thoughts but jewish people have suffered and still they are one of the most incredible cultures, lets ignore brainless people with sad comments.

Saludos.

  • HOW...GORGEOUS!!!!

Mazel tov and have a wonderful new year. This made my MONTH! I'm going to listen again and again!

Aleluia

  • Magnificent!

    I am from Moscow.

  • Hi everyone. I am a jew. And well, most people dont like us but i wanna thank u for ur nice comments! I love this song!

  • Most people don't like you? I love you!

  • such a powerful song, it just sends chills down your spine

  • this is remarkable. so penetrating, manly, powerful. deep and wonderful. one of the best performances of all time.

G-D bless you for posting and G-D bless israel and down with her enemies.

  • i first got to know this song in a catholic church as a child in germany where i was born. i didn't know it had a jewish origin. it is so powerful and beautiful. many jewish songs have incredibly touching melodies.

    amazing!

    great song...

    thanks

  • So beautiful , and the promise will never change.

  • It made me think of my grandfather who loved Judaism, and would have loved to see Israel if he had had enough resources to go there. Thank you. Very moving.

  • This is like the only Jewish song that i absolutly love to listen.

  • Differences should always be respected. As I said I am a christian who is a profound admirer of jewish history and religion. And even with our differences I think anybody who sits and listens to this song will feel moved by it. Long live Israel.

  • Jews do not believe in Jesus. As a Buddhist, neither do I.

  • arabs are not loved because they want to destroy israel jews are loved because all they want to do is survive.

  • I believe it was Jesus who said : "Is it not the sick who need a doctor ?" as such it is the wicked who need a savior most

  • tell it to the arabs

  • many Christians are around the globe. eventhough we don't hear about it, in repressive/communist/arab/muslim countries the gospel of Jesus Christ is spreading like a wildfire.

  • Can somebody tell me where I can find a CD with the Moscow Male Jewish Cappella?

  • This is wonderful. I love this video. This version of Yerushalaim Shel Zahav makes me feel close to God. I am a christian but when I listen to this song I feel that the love of God reaches us all regardless the religion we practice. Long live Israel for introducing spirituality to the world.

  • I found this video to be very calming, almost like a caress of hope for all..I remember hearing this song as a kid so many times...I felt like it was meant as a way of telling us Jews that life in Israel was always going to be okay because we loved Israel and each other.

  • Gyonyoruen dalolnak

  • SHALOM OLAM YZRAEL

  • "Keep in mind that the Arabs control 99.9 percent of the Middle East lands. Israel represents one-tenth of one percent of the land mass. But that's too much for the Arabs. They want it all. And that is ultimately what the fighting in Israel is about today...No matter how many land concessions the Israelis make,it will never be enough."

    Arab-American Journalist--Joseph Farah Eretz Yisrael

  • How many Jews Died in Russia for the right to remain remembering and loving Jerusalem , and you know what since the dawn of times till the end of times Yerushalayim derserves all the lives there is

  • I believe Jerusalem will soone be the capital of the UNIVERSE!! And Israel will be forever the Kindom of Heaven. The bible says the city will come down from the heavens and be like 2000 Kilometres cubed.

  • So if this is a real city.. where is it now?

  • Yes, Wonderful!!

  • Divine.
