Is your Pacman frog a cranwelli? If so, it is beautiful and its horns are awesome (I wish mine had horns this big!). It seems huge, too, and its feeding response is... impressive!
yeah that's a cranwelli. it's actually my friends frog, but yeah, it's definitely a pretty one. i learned after this video that the cranwelli are usually called "Chacoan Horned Frogs" not "Argentinian". oh well. thanks for watching.
Is it true that these frogs are poor swimmers? And also is it true if there is another one(im not sure if this goes for the female spieces) that it will go to cannibalism?
all true. they can't swim because they don't float, and yes they try to eat everyone and everything that moves in front of them, even if its their own species.
@HistorianHimself Ok so im wonering how do you breed these (do you change the temparature or something in season so the frog is in the mood for breeding?)
This one does seem unusually agro. My friend (whose frog this is) has two, and the other one is a wimp compared to this monster. She has attacked my hand on numerous occasions, and it always draws blood.
Nah. Sphagnum is harmless unless its left to rot for a while, at which point it becomes a reservoir for bacteria and turns slightly acidic. When we use sphagnum we change it out every time the frogs poop, which is every 3-5 days - way sooner than the sphagnum starts to decompose. I prefer sphagnum because it's easier to clean out, cheaper than coco-bedding, and I personally think it's more visually appealing and smells better. Thank you for your concern anyway.
You're right! I was wrong in originally tagging this video as C. ornata. I don't think it matters though, because this video isn't about scientific accuracy. It's about awesometeriffic accuracy.

I only just got mine a few days ago, but honestly, it wont even move for prey. Perhaps its ill or something because its only eaten one locust :\
