yeah that's a cranwelli. it's actually my friends frog, but yeah, it's definitely a pretty one. i learned after this video that the cranwelli are usually called "Chacoan Horned Frogs" not "Argentinian". oh well. thanks for watching.

all true. they can't swim because they don't float, and yes they try to eat everyone and everything that moves in front of them, even if its their own species.

This one does seem unusually agro. My friend (whose frog this is) has two, and the other one is a wimp compared to this monster. She has attacked my hand on numerous occasions, and it always draws blood.

Nah. Sphagnum is harmless unless its left to rot for a while, at which point it becomes a reservoir for bacteria and turns slightly acidic. When we use sphagnum we change it out every time the frogs poop, which is every 3-5 days - way sooner than the sphagnum starts to decompose. I prefer sphagnum because it's easier to clean out, cheaper than coco-bedding, and I personally think it's more visually appealing and smells better. Thank you for your concern anyway.
