i'm using a cleasner by biore. (i can never find it at wal mart, only target) it's called "blemish fighting ice cleanser" it's oil free and has a cooling sensation when you put it on and rinse it off. i like it so far. maybe give it a try?

would you recommen proactive, ive never tried it but i have tried everything else, even from taking antibiotics and other things and i have oily skin and pimple keep coming on the sides of my face.

Hi, you skin looks great. It seems like we have the same skin type. How is the clinquie control products working for you? Have you tried benzoyle or milk magninesia for oil control? I alternate with the two for my morning routine. When I notice a breakout I put on a thin layer of benzoyle before puting on my make up. (Also, I only use powder b/c foundation increases oil on my skin). If my face is okay then, then I put a thin layer of the Milk magnesia. Check it out on youtube. Thaks for info.

You should try sticking with one regimen for awhile. Switching up regimens so quickly isn't effective...you won;t know which one worked! Foe sensitive skin all those chemicals are your biggest enemy.

You seem to use everything! One thing I know about skilncare is you have to be patient. You have tried way too many products for one face. Perhaps you have experienced allergic reactions to all those different chemicals. You obviously don't have sensitive skin, because half of those chemicals are full of alcohol and fragrance....which would have me looking like Shrek!

I used the Ultra Glow Black Soap, bought it at WalMart. (props to thomasadrianna and jhenelledena - they did vids on the black soap). I tell you it saves me so much money from buying all those cleansers.

I am so happy for you and your skin! :) I don't break out much anymore, but one thing that has helped me SOOO much is Witch Hazel. It keeps my redness down and it doesn't dry your skin out like regular astrigent does. Sometimes I even use it to "wash" my face when I'm in a rush!

Glad your skin got better. U should try the queen helene mint julup mask aswell. Its suppose 2 help with acne as well. I just started using it so im not gonna swear by it right now but it does feel minty and nice and leaves my skin real soft after wards.

Proactive worked for me for three years znd then it stopped. I stopped using it for months and tried again but nothing. When it worked, it worked really really well. Have you ever heard of zeno? It's good for occasional pimples and leave less scarring if u use it as soon as you get the pimple. Not for whiteheads. Expensive but works. They had a 30 day trial when i bought mine.

Just wanted to say that your oily skin is a blessing in diguise. Most people with oily skin, like me, look really young for their age. I'm almost 40 and people always say I look between 24 and 26!! Neutrogena has a good cleanser for makeup removal. Tear free so u can really rub in your eyes good and get all the makeup off the first try! Just use your fingers. And thanks for sharing!

Girl I so feel you. I suffered with the same problem for the longest. You are definitely on the right track. Exfoliating is the key to getting rid of the dark spot because its shedding those damaged layers of skin. And we all pop those white heads...LOL! But if you're gonna do it, snap a q-tip in half and use the two cotton ends to squeeze. I helps prevent the scarring. Good luck :)

to take of your make up you can use Ponds Cold Cream I didn't think it worked but I saw this other make up tutorial guru name iCraiz use it and I tried and it takes off everything, just need to figure how to get these spots of my face but if you found a solution please let me know. Have you ever heard of RX for brown skin? I just recently found out about it...they sell it exclusively @ Sephora. It's a line of products targeted for us brown skin girls. They have different formulas, some of it is for acne prone skin. They have a brightener that helps with dark spots. I'm currently using a sample that I got and think I might purchase once the sample is gone.

Ms Dana I dont even know why you are still suffering with that acne. I use to have bad acne on myface,back and chest now this was some years ago. I went to the derm and was put on oral antibiotics and retin a still had acne . I changed my derm an was put on accutane it saved my life. I suffered for so long and accutane was the answer. If I had a child and she raised a bump it would be put in her formula...lol The first time someone complemented me on my skin I cried. To this day I am thankful.
