im pretty sure they wont be back....Chris Thile is in pretty tight with The Punch Brothers. They have a good thing going and idk if thatll be done anytime soon.
Oh my god, that is so prefect . I've always loved that song, and as the finale as their final tour....almost crying. I'm so sad they've broken up, they made such amazing music. Their solo stuff is good but not the same.
I agree. This show was the most incredibly amazing thing I have ever heard or seen. (or ever will for that matter) Especially when they sang this song as a second encore. It got soo quiet in the building that you could hear a pin drop. Spine tingling. *sniff sniff* It was so sad.
Sure miss these guys. I'm trying to just enjoy the solo projects they have going on. Sara was in my city with someone else a couple of months ago, but I couldn't make it. Great video; Thanks for sharing.
I've been to a lot of concerts, but I don't think anything I'll ever see live will top that moment. I saw them earlier on the tour, and they closed with the same song, but completely acoustic in the Ryman for perhaps the last time ever--it was an experience to say the least. Amazing. Then again, if they get back together again and do it once more...

on walking out, i observed they had a very nice camera recording the show. i'm hoping that will be released eventually.

I asked the guy with the camera, and he said (very curtly, I might add) that it was for the band (their personal collections, I suppose).
