Do the puppeteers play the whistle while they do the ducks or is that post production?

How do they do the quacking noise for the ducks? They always sound the same. How do they do it?

@ZNKChannel - they use a sort of whistle/instrument called a "duck caller", they are commonly used by duck hunters also.
