Interesting video, In your vid I listen 80 knots, V1, VR sounds. I can't listen in my wilco 737. I complete, I believe, everything in my FMC. Is there anythung special to do in order to listen these sounds? Thanks!!
i have this add-on and am using fs2004. i got the boxed version but the only problem is that i don't get the thrust set or the 80, throttle hold, v1, or rotate! Ive contacted feel there technical support and they should get back to me soon but i don't know why!
You'd be guessing wrong! It's the 737-500 - it can tolerate 14 degrees of nose-up on rotate without tail strike. I replayed this recording from outside and everything was grand!
hi I know this has absolutley nothing to do with your video would you be able to give me help with the Wilco 737 fmc, I am fine with the getting the FMC to follow waypoints, it's when it comes to getting the thing to fly the approach to the airport, you know in the normal 737 what you get in flight sim you click GPS and APP what do you do in the Wilco 737 to get it to intercept the ILS? I know i'm programming it wrong but don't know where, if you can help I would greatly appreciate it.
A very average one, to be honest. It's an ATI Mobility Radeon 1400 running on a 1.66G Core Duo processor Acer laptop. I only get average frame rates most of the time. I have limited my frames to 35 because it rarely goes over that. I tend to get around 20 to 25 in the 2D cockpit and 15-20 in the 3D cockpit.
Rob, thanks. You need an add-on called FSRecorder. One of the things it allows you to do is to set various views inside the cabin using X, Y and Z co-ordinates. You can change the view with your joystick hat switch and then save the views for use later. Hope this helps.
No, only a virtual pilot. Have never flown in real life. Just really interested in aviation and airplanes, sparked by regular visits to Dublin Airport over the past five years. It's only half hour down the road from where I live. Really like flying in the simulator. It's quite realistic in many respects.

Great video- why did the brakes come on when you rotated? Did you reduce the power causing the RTO autobrake to activate?
themit0 2 years ago
@themit0 Nope. Brakes must be deployed to stop the wheels from spinning before you retract the gear!

yeh well i did say "possible" didn't I?
sonicfan1996 2 years ago
When you took off, I notice you climbed on a 20 degree angle. The proper takeoff angle is 10-13 degrees.

Not so. You pitch up until your speed is V2+20.

@mythicalireland 13 degrees he is right but after liftoff pitch to 15 degrees

Yes, it's great to be able to get cabin views. Just a pity that all the seats are empty, but hey, we are in a recession after all ! LOL :P
