That was a great forward launch. You get the air moving over the wing, then let off the throttle to inflate, then hit full power when the wing was half way up. I'll have to try that next time I forward launch. I have about 50 reverse and 6 forward. I fly in San Diego.
It's a good technique for low/no wind conditions, and Scott does it well.
Foot launchers in the midwest do 90%+- forward inflations. These guys need to learn a good 'forward', or stay on the porch..T
