The Revenge of Death Adder - No Deaths - Final Battle

I still don't understand how people can get more than 3 to 4 hit combos on Death Adder without him smacking you in the middle of it with his shield or his axe. He does that shit to me every time. I can still beat this without dying though. Usually I don't have to use any magic until Scene 7 where you get gang jumped by all those weirdos in the masks. I still wonder what that red X on the lower part of the main map is for, too.

The first time I saw Death Adder at the arcade, back in the 90s, I was blown away... He looked mean and awesome... He had the most bad-ass shield ever!
