The Glagolitic alphabet was diffused in the 862. Before the italians there were Histri, Liburni and Ventian (not republic of venezia), then the Romans, then the byzantines an then the italians (republic of Venezia). The Croats came from Ukraine, and YOU invaded this lands because there were the hungarian invasions. Istria alwaybe Croatian? Don't makeme laugh! You are very fanny like the all Italians, but your knowledge about history and Istra are very little. Croats are came in Istra in 7th century. And in that time, only some Roman people lived in the some towns on coast of Istra. I never heard for Italian people in Istra in this time. I think that most of glagolic scripts of Istra (and Trst) from middle age evidenced existing Croats in that time. I am proud to be Istrijan and Croat ! :-)
