I especially liked the sign across the street that said" Please excuse our BIGOT neighbors- they embarrass us ,too!!". It was shameful to see these idiots bring their children to this farce- they just looked ridiculous and hateful...
That must be every single conservative in Western Washington. By the way, you guys make Everett look bad. Oh, and one more thing, there is such a thing as separation between church and state (it's part of the 1st amendment).
People can define anything they want but it may or may not be right or true. Only what God says about people or things is absolete, because He is creator of everything, and everything.
Perhaps I can't, unless you count other countries. But just because something is tradition doesn't mean it is inherently correct. And it's not the first time the definition of marriage has changed.
Oh, there are a lot of traditions in the history or man that are truly messed up, so I would never use tradition as an argument for defending anything. As for marriage, as for as I know, until very recent past, has always been used to describe a relationship between a man and a woman, though not necessarily one man and one wife. (Polygamy) I do not know of in any history of place until very recent where a homosexual relationship can be called marriage.
I never said it was wrong. I simply said this was the first time marriage would be described as such. I don't support homosexuality as it is completely contrary to the natural order of things. However, since its between two consenting adults, it's their business. I also don't agree with the general lifestyle that I have seen my gay friends demonstrate. (extremely promiscuous, especially with the males) Ultimately, I disagree with any side trying to force by law any belief on any people.
(Continued) This meaning I stand against any hate crime bill (creates an unequally application of law) I am also against any group getting special rights; married, single, gay, strait, black, white, minority, majority, etc. All these special rights creates an unequal application of law, which not only distracts from freedom, but creates biases and prejudices.

We must be living in interesting times, if for the first time ever the definition of marriage is being debated.

It's not.

Can you show another time when marriage was defined in a homosexual relationship?

So that makes it wrong?
