  • Love this song, but you need to label it correctly. This is NOT a tribute to Creed, it's a tribute to 9/11. The song was written/performed by the band Virgos and features Scott Stapp on backing vocals and Mark Tremonti doing guest lead guitar.

    Please fix.

  • The other singer is Brett Hestla , from a disbanded Virgos Merlot

  • Just download this with aTube Catcher and there ya go :D

But I really don't know where this dude got this from.

  • This song has nothing to do with Creed!!!!! NOTHING!!! listen to the lyrics.... Its a totally beautiful song about the dead heroes from 9/11. Here's some of the lyrics you morons ignored so it could be about creed: "I know why you had to go inside" "and watched the world become a grave" "i missed the flames,I watched the brave sacrifice so lives could be saved" Does that sound like it's about creed?LOL. I love seeing creed rock out in a song about such sadness..Virgos rocks give credit to them..

  • @BountifulLoins scott stapp sings in the song. thats why it's about creed moron.

  • @matthewhart8 what is it you don't understand moron this song has nothing to do with creed

scott stapp sang this song with brett hesla as a favor because brett has toured with them and wanted a song with scott stapp and mark tremonti they have also said in an interview that it had nothing to do with creed but only a favor.

  • Scott IS THE post-grunge! Others follow with great distance. Myles is a good hard rock/heavy metal singer, Brett has a common voice..

  • Scott Stapp is terrible. Especially when compared to Brett or Myles Kennedy. The original version of this song was waaaaaaaaaaay better without him. Long Live Virgo's Merlot and Alter Bridge.

  • @thebix3 What? You are out of your mind. Brett sucks compared to Scott Stapp. No one listened to Virgo's Merlot. Brian Marshall was also a WAAAAY better bassist than Hestla. Also, Myles Kennedy would love to accomplish half of what Scott has.

  • @theveryunknown420 Brett is an incredible vocalist. He does not suck.

  • Creeds getting back together, there new tour and new album is titled "Full Circle"

    all i can say is...FINALLY!

  • i retract my previous statement, and yes im sure u all no creed is getting back together and they are making a new album... all i can say to that is HELL YES!!!!

  • @ creed alter bridge tour 2009 this should b the last song with scott stapp n myles kenneddy singin this

  • they r getting back together

  • bet you you feel like a bit of a tube now.........

  • look on their site dipshit they are, also look at there myspace page... a new album and summer tour CREED! you people should look up things instead of acting stupid

  • they did also a new album soon too

  • "ashes fall before the dawn"

  • fuck anyone who talks shit bout creed. its not fair that people hate them caz those cry pussys pearl jam got jealus n got everyone 2 hate them. i lost all respeact in p jam. n then u say scott stapps drinken problems and crude behavior.... psshh well that wouldnt b the first time id seen a rock star act out.

  • rare and amazing song!!!

  • u can have SO much fun ... with me L

  • STFU

  • Actually that is Stapp on the Virgos CD he just sounds A LOT like Brett. For what it's worth this is from Virgos album "the path of least resistance" it was an indie release shortly before he joined as Creed's touring bassist. If you like this, check out Dark New Day.

  • creed's bassist was brian marshall

  • True, but after the Human Clay tour Brian was fired and Mark Tromonti wrote the bass for Weathered. They asked Brett Hestla if he could tour with them to support that CD, Virgos fans blame this incident for the dissolution of Virgos

  • @mcnathan80 Some of us do, but I don't think it had anything to do with Creed. Brett was in both bands at the same time. In fact, ViRGOS toured with Creed as an opener for awhile. Personally I think they got tired of living in a van eating Ramen Noodles on tour. Their guitarist had health problems - he actually passed away last year from diabetes, and that lifestyle was probably rough on him. Not getting resigned with anyone probably didn't help either.

  • brian marshall left before Weathered and Brett toured with Creed

  • Very wrong. Stapp's vocals were edited out of the final mix of The Path of Least Resistance. The audio on this video is a non-album track. On the album it's all Brett. The two could not possibly sound more different.

  • brett who?

  • @marktremontirules1 Hestla. Brett Hestla.

  • Where did you get this song from? I want it!!

  • me to!!

  • You can find it at creedfeed site (find by google)

  • @mastoner20 It was a bonus track on Virgos Album called "Path of Least Resistance" That's Brett Hestla singing with him.. in fact, The original version I have doesn't have Scott Stapp singing on it AT ALL. Maybe they dubbed him in later ? Brett Hestla was the lead singer of Virgos Merlot and touring bassist for Creed for a while.. I guess that's when they recorded this. Maybe they dubbed Stapp in later because Virgos split up.. Very strange.

  • @brandon9271 Thank you. It only took two years to get a reply! haha. I will look into it, thanks again.

  • @brandon9271 This is a non-album demo. It existed way before the album was released. This doesn't even sound finished. I think Scott's vocals here are from scratch tracks that he was going to redo later. He usually sounds a little better, and also they would have tuned them a little with AutoTune before releasing it officially. Scott's vocals were cut from the final version for some reason, maybe because the rights to his voice are owned by a record label. This was an indie release.

  • This song is amazing! One of those unreleased songs, thanks for adding it!

    Creed 4 Life!!

  • Brett to VR?

  • When was this song made? its pretty cool.

  • When was this song made? its pretty cool.

  • Strong Song...

this song touches my heart too...

  • I agree Mark Tremonti IS GOD!!!

  • Creed wasn't one of the greatest rock bands, they were THE greatest in my opinion, I love Creed

  • CREED es la neta..:..

Gracias por su musica ahora soy el guitarrista que soy, Graccias Mark Tremonti...

    Ahora seguimos con Alter Bridge!!!

  • this song touches my heart!!!!!!!!

  • this is a great tribute you did and the song is awsome, I am searching for this CD from Virgos but it's impossible to find it, even on ebay

  • @taekwongr It has been out of print for 9 years. They only released it independently, and probably only pressed about 2,000 copies. You can probably find a nice ViRGOS fan who can hook you up with the audio.

  • That song is amazing... at least now we know what direction creed was going in before they broke up... but still its no alter bridge.

  • This really wasn't that Creed related, just a side song.

Aside from Scott's singing, and Tremonti solo, all the music was done by Virgos band members.

  • Comment removed

  • Regardless of what you think of the vocals,it's a tribute from Stapp to Creed,he deserves to be on the final cut.I like it personally.

  • From Stapp to Creed? This was about 9/11 bro.

  • no it wasnt....it was about the breakup of creed sayin that they will always b bros

  • This song was released several years before Creed broke up, but months after 9/11.

  • Listen to the lyrics.

  • Sorry. This was written by Brett Hestla of ViRGOS/Virgos Merlot. It was released BEFORE Creed broke up and is about 9/11. There is also a version of the song with only Hestla on vocals that was featured as a bonus track on a reissue of a ViRGOS album in 2002.

  • @themilstead Thank you Milstead!

  • @altrbrdgfn1... I cant believe you're this delusional.... This song is about 911 (firefighters, police and first responders more specifically)....... Listened to the lyrics???? LOL.. I love how your evidence is that there's a lyric about them always being bros? dude.... listen to the rest.. this was just a mistake by whoever posted this vid....And it wasn't that Scott's embarrassing performance was left out of the studio mix, he was never on it....Is "Candle in the Wind" about creed too? lol

  • Mark and Scott belong together in the World mucic
