And I dont agree, Whitney could control her voice better then anyone ive ever heard if you listen to Beyonce sing "Listen" live and compare it to Whitney singing "I Have Nothing" live theres no comparison to me. There's nothing worse than people whom watch a performance by someone else and then come here and compare the two performers. There is no real comparison and if you're trying to validate on performance over the other you will without doubt miss the essence of what both performances provide. Appreciate them both. Don't disregard one over the other because they're both phenominal talents. I came here to watch the original performer sing this song after watching Melanie and I enjoy it all the same.

Beyonce doesn´ t have more resonance, because her voice is just shouty with a lot of add reverb. That's is the product of having great resonance compared to someone like say Xtina who sounds like she is struggling when hitting a note as simple as a C5 creating thin and sharp tone. Another performance to watch is Bey Oscar performance with JHud. There is apart where they both hit a F5. Bey sustains it effortlessly where as Jhud is shouty.
