i can't find bsd subsystems only unix subsystems.

If you have cydia installed then BSD is already installed.

Just Restart after you install SSH then it should work after everything is all set up.

if this isnt working for you there is an alternative called iphonebrowser just type it in on youtube and watch a video on how to download it right off of google the best thing about this program is that you just need to connect your ipod to the computer with the USB cord more usernames,passwords, or patches like in winSCP and cuteFTP

Hi i was just wondering if anybody could help me with cuteftp.

Well i was on cuteftp and i accidentally deleted the whole applications folder with all my apps in it, meaning all my apps were deleted

And now on my jailbroken ipod touch, the only thing remaining on the screen is the wallpaper and the top bar (with the time/battery/signal).

So if anybody has any idea how i could get my deleted files back please help.

You need to put it into DFU mode.

Plug your iPod into your computer

Open iTunes

Hold down the home and power button together for 10 seconds and then let go of the power button but keep holding down the home button until it pops up in iTunes saying that iTunes has detected an iPod in recovery mode. Then click restore. Done deal

if you get the error messege then an easier and faster way is to change the ip address. To do that you need go to where your ip address is and chande it to static. Then change the ip address to something else. Like for iptm's one he could have changed it to 192.168.0.199 or something or change it to 192.168.1.199. This should help.

Ipodtouchmaster forgot to mention when your using wireless, make sure your Mac or PC is using the same network as your wireless on your ipod. You can't be on 2 different networks or else it won't work.
