No sir, those are in the Americas. I want your turtles tho... go fetch me a Mary's River turtle, and a Murray River turtle, and what ever else you can find. Even though the Mary's River turtle is government protected. =P
oh ahaha, yeah i used to have a Murray River Turtle, or was it a snake neck i think there the same, cant remember but it was vicious, it loved eating blood worms.
ahahah :) iv'e never heard of Mary's River Turtle, i think the short neck turtle i forgot the name though i dont think it was a pinkbelly though..
Animals will eat anything they can, especially when their main food, like fish, dwindle. The pelicans that have begun eating small birds or unprotected chicks in sea bird colonies are actually showing an increase in population thanks to the fact that their sheer size allows them to just swallow fair sized animals whole. This could be either awesome or terrifying.

Gosh, when animals eat things that I'm not aware of is in their diet it creeps me out a little.
I heard there's a video of a Pelican eating a Pigeon!

It was very unusual, I did wonder if they ever did swallow one at all, possibly very small ones.
I've seen the pigeon video, that was quite a shock and difficult to believe it was real.
