God how i miss old disney world and old disney rides, the new ones, and “refurbished” ones are just not magical to me. i am so mad, and heartbroken they got rid of the old rides and shows, why couldn't they just build new stuff elsewhere, like in another state!

@reverendloush The Carousel of Progress still exists in this current state in Florida, though, mind you, it's badly in need of maintenance and is prone to breaking down often. The last time I rode it, it broke down about 5 times within on show cycle, which just goes to show the neglect it gets compared to the rest of the park, which I'm sure is because it's not profitable compared to Pirates of the Caribbean or things like that.

It would be nice if someone made a (Carousel of Progress 2000) fan version that's made up but in Walt's style so we can have the modern version we missed out.

Look at our wonderful progress of having technology made in China with lead poisoning due to a lack of quality control and we are losing jobs to China to make us poor................forget the idea of the 2000 version! :o
