  • @TheFrickinPope We Will Fall Together

  • everyone who likes streetlight has to go see them live it's so crazy

  • my faV

  • This was the one song off EGN that I never really appreciated as much as the others, and I feel like an idiot for doing so. The end shout chorus is one of my favorite moments of the entire album.

  • Got Everything Goes Numb for Christmas along with Somewhere in the Between!

  • Saw them live in Tallahassee, great concert.

  • this song takes me back to middle school. I fucking love this band!!

  • "Oh i know it's hard but so are you

and so am i and we'll pull through together, together and i said

It's been years but still I fear

that someone dear will leave me here forever, for forever and i said"

"Annie said she's tired of forgetting about today and always planning for tomorrow...tomorrow and she says

The saddest day I came across was when I learned that life goes on without me...without me and she says"

    same sounding parts?

  • @lvdm4life I think the album is more or less a concept album. I read somewhere that the songs are supposed to parallel each other.

  • strrrreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeetlllliiiiiiiighhhhhht

    streetlight manifesto kicks ass

  • Trying new music. This is actually pretty amazing XD

  • they're amazing live!!!! best concert ever!!!!

  • omg I might see Streetlight in new york city on august 10. thanks for attaching that website thing!!!!!!!!!!

  • My friends are big Streetlight fans, this is my first time discovering this band. Just listened to "Would you be impressed" and then this song. Any other songs I should listen to?

  • @TheFrickinPope try the albums 'everything went numb' and 'keasbey nights'. those are my favorite ;)

  • @TheFrickinPope listen to the albums Everything goes numb, Keasby nights, Somewhere in the between and 99 songs of the revolution :D

  • @TheFrickinPope streetlight makes amazing covers. you should also look up their album 99 Songs of Revolution. those are all covers but are awesome! my fav on that album is Punk Rock Girl :D

  • @TheFrickinPope

    all of them

  • @TheFrickinPope every fuckin' one of 'em. but first listen to catch 22's keasbey nights.

  • @hypnotiqpsycho Well, in the 5 months since I posted that comment, I have bought every Streetlight album they have, as well as every Toh Kay album. I've also seen a Streetlight concert. I've become a Streetlight diehard xD

  • @TheFrickinPope Yeah every fucking song..

  • streetlight played this last night in Pamona, best fuckin shit of my life :D just screaming this song and skankin' my brains out all night

  • seeing these guys in 2 weeks @ pearl street Northhampton mass,FUCK YEAH! :)

  • @sethredxiii Seen um twice in norfolk, great shows :D

  • I tried to go see streetlight and got to the doors and it was sold out. FUCK MY LIFE

  • Ska is starting to come more & more in the spotlight.

hopefully nobody sells out & shit.:P

  • @phatnatyouknow Are you kidding? That's what the spotlight is all about.

  • @phatnatyouknow Coming into the spotlight? I swear, next to nobody knows Streetlight. It's sad, but its the truth.

  • my anal beard is long and knotted

  • Best song on this album.

  • My favorite Streetlight song...

  • I LOVE STREETLIGHT MANIFESTO!!!!!!!

  • every person i've introduced streetlight to, not one disliked their music :D

they are always bumbing this shit because ITS FUCKIN AWESOME!!!!

  • This song is refreshingly raw compared to their other songs (i love streetlight, but their songs are usually really tight) it fits here though

  • Yeah. If your friends don't like Streetlight, you should probably get new friends.

  • @rebelfist17 we can lave your friends behind , cause your friends dont like ska, and if they dont like ska, well theyre not friends of mine

  • why do all of my freinds hate streetlight?!

  • sounds like it's time for new friends :)

But seriously, it's probably because they don't hear them in the background of video games or on movies, or they're not played out on the radio. They're not mainstream, and some people are afraid to actually look in the sidestream for wonderful music like this.

    School them.

  • so true

  • Maybe they're just not into them? I listen to lots of music and I don't find this song to be so hot. There's no accounting for taste right?

  • you, sir, sound like you know your sidestream music.

ive recently been trying to get into ska but i dont wanna just search 'ska' and come up with perhaps crappy bands. mind naming off a few good ska bands?

  • honestly, the easiest/best thing I would recommend doing is to go to a site like Pandora and, like I did, type in a band from the 'era' of ska that you like. First generation could be Toots and the Maytals, Second could be The Specials, Third could be Reel Big Fish. You will get an awesome array of bands streaming through your ears, and you can make a choice from there. For 'chill' ska, I keep getting drawn to The Toasters.

  • streetlight manifesto catch 22 less than jake suburban kids

  • @singalinger

Streetlight is my favorite band but i wouldnt consider them like any other ska band. Theyr their own genre, punk with horns basically, but just becuase they have horns people label them as ska.

  • @brybrytrudy They also have some of the other "ska" factors. Also, 3rd wave ska is highly punk influenced.

  • @PoisonSpittingClowns yeah and if u think of other songs like kristina she dont know i exist, thats really contemporary and not even ska or punk. whats nice about streetlight is that they can range from ska punk all the way to skacore.

  • @brybrytrudy

They have the "skat" of the guitar AKA ska.

  • My friends hate Streetlight too. I think it's because our friends are nazis. hmm...i'm gonna have to look into it.

  • you might want to lol

  • Scalp 'em.

  • I have asked them why, and they claim it's the tempo. They seem to think Kalnoky sings too fast and they can't understand the lyrics, which apparently makes the music no good. After all, anything without lyrics is clearly not music.

  • Classical?

  • @GoshawkHeron

"After all, anything without lyrics is clearly not music. "

    Thats a completely false statement.

  • @GeneAnaki flase just actually listen to the song and u can hear the lyrics just fine

  • @misunderstoodmarshan what you have to do, is slip some streetlight in when they don't realize it, party, car drive, ect. Make them think its their decision to like the songs.

They'll start singing along without realizing.

  • @btal69 not bad, not bad at all

  • I wouldn't say #1, but it's definitely up there. :D

  • You won't Say nothing.

    And thats just fine.

  • This band is insane live. Also, greatest streetlight song, next to keasbey nights. Here is to hoping they come back to Denver soon.

  • so this is the best song streetlight has written..

  • Parts of the chorus remind me of "Annie says" in A better Place, A Better Time o3o

    Very good song ^_^

  • same here...but it's still damn good, regardless

  • Yeah but instead of ,"and she said" its ,"and I said". I also caught that :P

  • Heard them play this live today and they were great.

  • This song is SOOO underrated.

  • if i could, i would thumbs up this comment one thousand times

  • Haha well thanks. It's nice to see another person who agrees with me.

  • best streetlight manifesto song

  • all their albums are great (all 3 :-p) somewhere in the between is 1 this is 2 and keasbey is 3rd but I still love their cover of that album. Personally its sounds much better than catch 22

  • "Anyone who is anyone is a waste of time."

  • Just quoting the song buddy ^_^ chill

  • I think the quote meant something more along the lines of anyone important.

  • wow night that was one of the stupidest things ive ever heard anybody say

  • thnis is my favorite streetlight album but i like down to maphistos cafe more song wise

  • this is my favorite too, but my favorite streetlight song changes like every two weeks ive had about ten other favorites before this

  • This is my favorite Streetlight song.

  • i reckon this whole album is pretty awesome :)

  • True

  • finally! found the song! :)

  • bombdiggity bitches

  • ahhhhhhhhhh streetlight!!! uv dun it again!!!!!!!!!!! :D

  • too sickkkkkk..

    streetlight gets down.

  • this is a concept album, so don't be suprised many song section intertwine, a complete classic, from start to finish (although i find the big sleep to be the weakest point) i guess its just by comparison to the rest of the songs

  • the big sleep is my favorite

    streetlight is cool bro

  • dude the big sleep is really good, maybe not their best but i think its a great song get off his back

  • this is epic.

  • yay! <3

  • So...

Does anyone else think that 1:26 of this song sounds just a little bit like 2:55 of A Better Place, A Better Time?

  • 2:55 @ A better place, A better time is much faster than this one. :)

  • i always think that when i listen to it, but i mean it doesnt matter both songs are epic

  • YES. so true ive always thought that. Same beat. It sounds like hes saying annie says like in a better place a better timee

  • @LastFencerWilder i do. you have the ears of jesus.

  • @LastFencerWilder yeah i hear what youre talking about

  • @LastFencerWilder yeah a lot of there progrssions sound the same but different note u know? but i still love them

  • @LastFencerWilder Yeah, they're practically identical. I assume it was intentional. A lot of bands do that sort of thing.

  • @LastFencerWilder

I definitely heard what you're thinking.

  • @LastFencerWilder yeah everyone should

  • STreetlight is Ultimate!

  • "you say your life's a bore, and i can't quite disagree if you judge your life by the peices of shit that inhabit your TV"

    AMEN!

  • badass horn section with snare and high hat (with a souped up tempo) tomas is on a roll. is it time to go solo? hope not

  • thank you for adding this

  • thank you so much for this =]
