This is like one of the more bizarre methods used in the film 'Mousetrap'! Less tekkie,but I got rid of one by chucking a brick at it when it scurried across the living room! It wasn't expecting that!

@RcWorld7 I = V / R, your body resistance is constant. 24 V of pressure is not enough to make enough amount of current (that can kill you) go through your body. Therefore, even if there is an enough amount of current that can kill you available, it will never go through your body at 24 V.

@sterlingab he reduced the voltage to ward that off, anyways, you don't need massive voltage to kill, just reasonable amperage, volts is the power, amps is the current, the more current you have, the better you'll short circuit the nervous system.

Good move on winding down the power. I had a friend who made a similar device from massive capacitors. Luckily he put the whole lot in a shoe box which was painted wall to wall when the rodent vaporised.
