  • super song

  • First, let me start by saying, TO HELL WITH NEO NAZI SKINHEADS! Now to clarify-

Angelic Upstarts are an English punk rock/Oi! band formed in South Shields in 1977. The band espoused an anti-fascist and socialist working class philosophy, and have been associated with the skinhead subculture. More than two decades after its release, their debut single, "The Murder Of Liddle Towers", was included in Mojo magazine’s list of the best punk rock singles of all time.

  • The song is too long. It gets boring. And the melody is the same as "Solidarity".

  • Doesn't matter if the music is about Solidarity. If it perfectly fits the poem of Bertolt Brecht, that's OK.

  • I really love this song, but can't find it anywhere. A Google search of the lyrics brings only this up.

If anyone knows anything about this song, even what album it's recorded on, i would really appreciate it.

  • hahaha

stop! angelic upstarts was communist and NOT white power, when they had played with skrewdriver they werent white power yet!! skrewdriver turn wp after this!! stupid...

  • You are correct! Even the wanker band known as Skrewdriver were pretty liberal back in the day...

  • those who have & have-not are apart but don't explain because you would not know where to start face realities my brother only we can help each other join w/ us & we shall give you some heart dear god, dear god, dear god let this strike, cruel strike carry on many of those of us who are lucky to be free will not speak, will not hear, they will not see they would help after a fashion but are scarred of repercussions we'll fight all alone as long as it need be
  • all our women & our children stand w/ us

and we'll stand come tanks, starvation, tear gas

we'll get independent unions that are free from polyminions

nothing will deter the polish working class

wired camps, crooked courts, prison cells

swolen faces, broken bones, & bloody heads

we'll get independent unions that are free from polyminions

they can kill us & we'll never, never be quelled

  • we the shipright & the dockers here we stand

and behind us every worker hand in hand

we'll get independent unions that are free from polyminions

when we win we'll build a free & happy land

(chorus) dear god, dear god, dear god

let this strike, cruel strike carry on

though they cling to their fiction & they want our crucifiction

we shall stand every pain 'till we are done

  • do the research dumb ass the angelic upstarts have always been a white power band hell they played shows with skrewdriver

  • Are you joking? They've always been aart of left-wing organizations.

  • Qual o nome da música?

    What the name of music?

  • Qual o nome dessa música ?

  • This clip is ridiculous!!! The clip's author has no fucking clue what this song is about. And it's about Polish workers who oppressed communist regime in the early 80s. So why the fuck you mixed that with some KKK morons and African children? Complete and utter rubbish!!!

  • Sorry, I meant they RESISTED the oppressing communist regime

  • True, it's about Walesa's 'Solidarity' movement, a serious revolutionary movement, not racist motherfuckers such as the KKK

  • Beautiful. Strike for justice!!!

  • Excelente compañero!

    ..Aca Beto, del Orkut!
