this is one of the coolest tournaments around nothing else like it in the u.s. sure virginia beach is pretty good too, but this is just awesome. wish i was younger and could go back just one more time.

@satsua the thing about virginia beach is that your the best senior, junior, sophmore or freshman. For the ones hosted by themat.com ur the best in junior and/or cadet

what doesnt make sense to me is that there are 3 different types of folkstyle nationals. 1. ASICS USAW Folkstyle Nationals. 2. NHSCA. 3. War at the Shore. but then for freestyle and greco roman theres only 1. which folkstyle nationals are the real 1.

There at multiple national championships for Folkstyle. I've never heard of War at the Shore, but I'd put Flonationals into that category. The best way to actually determine who is the best in the nation is to go to all of them.

@Gocl1232 ya it isn't the real nationals but it is a tough tournament. The Asics nationals is the real 1 but not many people from where i am from dont consider it the real nationals they think its the NHSCA

whats the difference between cadet and a junior

Cadet I believe are if you are born in '95 or '96 and Junior is '94, '93, and '92

Once you are a Cadet (14 and 15 I believe) you can qualify for fargo.

Fargo is an incredible experience and I recommend you take advantage of it. What state are you from? I believe most states give you raffle tickets to sell to try and cover the expenses. I know Illinois does at least.

@wrestle1019 Actually...they only gave it a 3, which I thought was ridiculous. The ref gave it 5, judge and chairman gave it 3s. Their argument was that the throw wasn't to the back. They said since he didn't land in danger it was only a 3 pointer. But yes...if there has ever been a 5 point throw that was it.
