However this literature is a public domain & while it can certainly be lethal; is only moderately riske compared to what broadly encompasses the subject. There however; I will remain "DDS" as recommended although the clues are contained therein.

Besides; there are also safeguards set in place according to protocol...

One of my first occult books. There are many editions, but this one seems to be about the best. Many editions are incomplete and are full of errors. It is a good reference point for the ritual magician.

I did recognize patterns of belief sytems within the org that resembled that the org. was not what it seemed, as in "heaven on earth", "1000 years of peace", "New World Translation", "New System", "Worldwide Order" (printed verbage within one of their higher up books that is not for all, only whomever is part of this group"...and so forth.

You see you need to follow the rituals to invoke & contrary to popular belief while you may summon some caliginous entity for your benediction; one would do so under the covenant of Christ therefore any such possession would likely not occur & if so would only be temporary. You can't get curse but you can certainly cast damnation! {provided the appropriate sacrifice is offered. The literature when adhered to diligently will facilitate Dark Arts manifestations.

This book was later re-issued as "Ceremonial Magic". What you have is a reprint of the late 19th century "The Book of Black Magic and Pacts". Like I posted before, if you are into Crowley..then you are looking at one of the first occult books he read. Cool huh?

@Gwynthr I would certainly say so, in fact I find that Waite's material are one of the few occult philosophies that actually make any sense, as to mambo jumbo of "Spell books" on the market. It certainly has the gamut of a literary opus of antiquity.

I am reading Aliester Crowley's "Confessions" and this book is one of the first occult books he read. Crowley knew Waite. Both were members of the Hermetic Order of The Golden Dawn. Crowley did not like Waite. Waite is famous in occult circles for his ponderous prose in his books. He was an expert on Masonic history and was actually a kind of "stick in the mud."

@MrJakeI1 No not personally, While covered in scope ~ This is mainly due to the required fasting periods, sexual abstinence for prolonged periods of time as well as beastly offerings (or lack there off) that retain a burgundy rose tint that can stain the rug much to your mother's dismay long after the required elemental was summoned for one's carnal benefit. I picked my volume on eBay along with it's companion the Necronomicon (somewhat more fiction then it's antecedent presented).
