You all need to keep in mind that this video was 28years ago and MTV had not made it that big yet. Not many artist if any had the financial backing like Michael Jackson to invest millions in a production like Thriller. The videos were simple, and cheesy if you will, but the songs always carried the weight of the bum visuals. Personally, I thought the video was funny and it was just as whimsical as the song itself.
