I get my new phone in April 22. I want this phone but it doesn't have a front facing camera and its not running Andorid 2.3.4 or HTC Sense 3.0. Should i buy this phone and just update the phone(if it's possible) or maybe the HTC Vivid may be a bit cheaper in April?

@131babyluv that is one of the defects it has on the phone thats why it is hard to open the bottom case to where the battery leads so the battery wont slip out until it is open

@UnholyImport It's Walmart online only, requires you go with a certain plan, the larger data plan, and the $59 voice plan, but ATT online had a reconditioned for $19.99, which I got, my last reconditioned phone lasted 4 years, a leaky windshield in my old van finished it off for me.

@canvasjumpman87 Yes it is worth it.My friend owns one of these phones and i just happen to get my hands on it and its wonderful.It might be a little big but to me i think its wonderful.for a price of 99.99 you got a good deal on this phone.I mean it has a 8mp camera with flash and its half the cost of an iphone. It might take a while to get used to it because there is so many things you can do with it.Overall this phone is great and im happy that you bought it. You wont regret it.

@shadow50ify the HTC is the only phone wit dual 1gh snpadragon processor. which is faster. bigger screen. its runnin sense 2.0 too. idk i think i would go wit the inspire kuz its got more to it an more personilization. it has cons tho too. choose for yourself but my personal opinion would be the inspire. let me knw your final choice

I work at Radioshack I forget what the current price is of the HTC Sensation but as far as trading in your old phone(s) there is a set list of devices we can accept as a trade, so don't get your hopes up. Even then its up to the condition of the phone and if you are trading in the charger with it.

@jrhaggerty20 I have this phone. I've had it for about 3 - 4 weeks now. It is my first smartphone and use the following on the daily : Texting, Calling, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube. Because I know about it's low battery life, I tend to be really careful when using Wi-Fi. I'm not a tech expert or anything but all I know is that when I use Wi-Fi or my "Mobile Network (Data Plan)" it really drains my battery. The trick is to only turn on your wi-fi or mobile network when needed, then turn it off.

@jrhaggerty20 When I do this, I find that I am able to get through my day just fine. Then, I just charge it overnight which isn't a problem for me since I always do this anyway. Recommended: Turning your wi-fi or mobile network on only when you want to actually check your email, or facebook etc. Then turn it off once you're done. I find that when I do this, my battery actually lasts me through my day. But if you keep your internet on forever, it'll definitely die out. Hope this helped!

i can see this guy is using advance task killer. people DO NOT USE ADVANCE TASK KILLER!!! It forces apps to close then your phone automatically tries to reopen the app and advance task killer tries to close again, so its a fight between your phone and the task killer. its not good so don't install it onto your phone. its also drains your battery >.<

@TheMainMan318 lower setting -display-brightness go all the way down then while in setting go to account & sync - uncheck background data after you do that you would wabt to put home shortcut widgets that have the mobile widgets wifi etc thats in "personalize" also turn screen timeout to 15 seconds etc theres moee but these are the basics hoped it help...
