@juliannguyen13 it means that your wifi or signal indicator has in numeric numbers instead of icons. Usually changed in system options inside of sbsettings

When i open cydia and it reloads data and refreshes (top of screen loading thing) it gets stuck on this "Done:Packages" so i wait about 2 minutes and then it says "ERROR : POSIX" i have no idea what it means please help PS I also have been getting an error message on installous that says installation failed; invalid ipa" and it says that for every source for the apps i want to download... Please help

@poeypooisdaman ok so long question let me start from the top. The error posix is something wrong with cydia I believe as I get the same error lately. Secondly installous' problem is a broken ipa so u need to find a alternate link

@aks742 4.2 can be jailbroken but only untethered officially for iPhone 3G and iPod Touch 2G MB. If you have shsh blobs then old either alt/option down then click restore and select your fw

or its a programm called "DiskAid" and its like Open SSH but you its a pc programm.

so if you dont have openssh and your cydia is crashing or something like that and you can't download openssh or ifile go check this programm.

This is NOT The answer! If Cydia is reloading after jailbreak then you don't have ifile or ssh. If someone knows how to fix it please let me know.

@UltimateCydiaSource thanks for helping. after restoring 4.1 with redsnow i downgraded back to 3.1.2 with bra1n. Since then, no gps, cydia, youtube. had some success with redsnow for 3.1.2 (gt gpa back once only) and now i can see the root. deleted all files as suggested and also /var/lib/apt/lists (but partial) but still can't load cidia

Well nvm I spoke too soon. I delete the repo that is giving me the error messages and it just comes right back when I go back into Cydia and try adding a different source. After editing using iFile I save then respring.

When it ever pops out with error again, just follow the directory to the specific file and delete it. it solves it. its working great. i thought this might help out for those we have the similar problems. :) peace out

Hey hows it going. I just jailbroke my iPhone 3G running FW 4.1. I just installed cydia I havent messed with it or anything. Anyways, Cydia keeps giving me an error message about Data Resfreshment. I'm trying to unlock the phone yet Cydia will not let me do anything. Any thoughts?
