best way to do U2 to instantly catch someone airborne is to do a somewhat almost 720 more like a 690 or 700 haha, anyways basically 3 quick spins while on the ground is the easiest way to explain it, the first buffers the U2 and makes you jump the Second finishes the first spin and starts the 3rd, the 3rd spin doesn't have to be full and you'll be able to do ultra. Ghetto way to explain, but that's the easiest explanation.

Do you Buffer your ultra before you do it? Or is it in total only a 540-720 motion before you press the kicks? Often i find myself buffering before the jump even starts.. and then i just use less buttons depending on what i should do...

also the sooner in your jump you press u2, the more you can control it. if you do instant air u2, you can really control it quite a bit.

@KingPiccolo08 It will connect during that portion of the backdashes where their feet are off the ground. I think some characters DON'T do that little hop and leave the ground in their backdashes, so it won't connect on them. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

@jzonyourtube I know juri doesn't do the jump.. One cool thing i know about U2 is that if Oni does his fireball up and you ultra 2 after.. you recover before he does EVEN THO HE WENT FIRST! so you can do a combo.. usually i just do a fierce ASP
