A short wheelbase is a bad thing off road. It causes you to tip over in places where a long wheelbase vehicle can drive right up. Jeeps center of gravity is also way too high.

@chopursticks What is peoples obsession with Jeep these days, They are ugly as hell, they have little underpowered 6 cyl motors in them, they are over rated and last of all they are made by mopar, which is Dodge. Just because you have a 6 inch lift and some 38's doesn't mean a little jeep will go through mud, They weigh practically nothing, and people think they can do anything, Winches, lift kits and big tires are made for pickup trucks, People think Jeeps are cool cause they are easy to lift.

@TheYzrider94 I respect your opinion bro, but if you think about it, the Wrangler is the only 4x4 convertible in production right now. I love trucks, but they for sure cannot off road as well as Jeeps. Trucks are meant for hauling and towing, Jeeps are meant to go off road (b/c of the short wheelbase jeeps have). Also, most Jeepers don't like to play in the mud b/c that's just more damage to moving parts.. that's why that little 6 is sufficient. I'll take a stock Jeep over a stock truck anyday!

It's in Northern Alberta, They hire any crackhead they can find and stick them into any machine as long as they can push some leavers. They last about 3 years pull 80 to a 100k a year and come out flat broke.

A jeep is a LOT tougher than normal cars, including hummers. I'd put money on that jeep being just fine after all of that. (I dropped my jeep off a 20 foot cliff... twice, and it still worked well after that.)
