if this dosnt work i recommend just taking your phone apart and then taking the tracking ball apart to get at the gunk your poking at with the piece of paper lmao takes about 20 min to get it all done with the right tools.

I tried this, and it worked so well, my trackball popped out! That allowed me to, ever so gently, swab the inside with the corner of a clean piece of paper for whatever might be gumming up the works, then push the trackball back in place.

wow i cant believe nobody commented yet. its a very nice method, i have tried it but it doesnt feed through properly (fml). i put a blank sheet of white paper on a flat surface, flipped the phone over and ran the ball along the paper, do it for about 20 seconds it works just as well ^^
