In my borough, the EC1 centre was a vital opportunity for kids to engage in things from performing arts to journalism as well as martial arts, orienteering and all sorts. That got closed down by Labour, just like the Tories did in the 90s.

In my borough, the EC1 centre was a vital opportunity for kids to engage in things from performing arts to journalism as well as martial arts, orienteering and all sorts. That got closed down by Labour, just like the Tories did in the 90s.

The attitude of the British in Cyprus & that of the Ottomans in Greece do not compare to the attitude and more importantly continued legacy in it's African colonies. @PioDinata No Greece & Cyprus have NOT experienced similar problems to former British colonies. Not by a long shot. They also do not experience the continued side effects of being a former colony & don't have the levels of IMF debt imposed on former British colonies have which supercedes their GDP. Greece has the possiblility its debts would be covered by the EU. On point of fact it is a member - it WAS rich enough to do so. No African country would be rich enough to join the EU. Fact.

@PioDinataAgain with ur ridiculous comparisons as justifications for your prejudice - Palmers Green & Southgate DOES have crime I KNOW - been that way since the 90s. It's actually got worse since the Turk Cypriots moved up Wood Green high road and now control that area. I KNOW people that have been involved in Turk gang wars. Know what you talk about. Also, on the whole, PG & SG are affluent suburbs & have been for 300years! There's like 1 secondary schoool & the population is MUCH smaller

As fof PG&SG being affluent suburbs, when the Greeks 1st came to UK they were best in Camden, then moved to Green Lanes, then PG then SG, etc. They worked hard &earned their way to affluent areas. That's exactly my point! ;)

You can't, because the culture these people uphold is morally corrupt. Rap music isn't the most popular music in those countries, no. Certainly not in Cyprus and Greece. Furthermore those that do listen to it don't live their lives by it the way black youths do. Socio-econ situation is an excuse, these communities are poorer than London's blacks.

They have been encroaching on Northern North London since the 90s from those areas that you mentioned. Maybe it is comforting or convenient for u to ignore what is evident to ppl that live there but go agead, since noone else in other communities work hard or move to more affluent areas, despite greater challenges that white immigrants.

Greeks, Italians, French, Portuguese, Spanish, Dutch, etc, come and settle here, respecting the country and it's laws. You don't do that. 12% of the men in the UK are black but they are responsible for 54% of street crime, 46% of knife crime &the vast majority of gun crime. How can a minority be responsible for so much crime? It's a disgrace!

@JayGriffinblaze MOST other ethnic groups have made progress. the ones that haven't tend to be ones that aren't in Europe, like Albanians or Turks. Blacks have been here for many years. There are 3rd generation black youths that are still criminals! And no Turks are not seen as European. At no point have they been European. When the Greeks had an empire the Turks were in Mongolia, when the Romans ran Europe the Turks ran the Ottoman Emp, etc. They have never been european. you're talking shit

Also Turkey is on the verge of EY admittance (whether it happens or not they are considered European not Arab). In sport, they play in European leagues, they trade more with Europeans than they do with Arab neighbours. And on top of all that, there are MANY Cypriot (Turk & Greek gangs). They are European. They were around in many cases BEFORE large scale West Indian immigration. Where is YOUR excuse now?

Prior to the Roman invasion, there were already a large number of Germanic peoples here, and there were sophisticated societies throughout Britain with fully developed language skills.
