I actually sold several items that accumulated to $635 in profit; but had somehow ended up; needing to pay Ebay; $606 in fees; which would make me $35; while they get $606 ---
And if i had actually paid those jackasses; the fees (which isn't happening) & cashed my money and make $100 less with the conversion rate in my country; ;i would have EARNED about -$85 while they PROFIT $606
I never added a legitimate paypal account; b/c I knew that would be a bad decision---
Free is always great; but those sites can become useless when there are about; 5 users on the site at once...I've visited many free sites; and there was "literally' 0-5 users active
It takes about 5-10 calls to Ebay to find someone with brains and or authority to actually do anything. I record all my calls with them. I have some of the dumbest reps on record. Every question is a canned response with Dont worry everything will be ok. When I press for answers I get put on hold. 3 of the 10 calls will get disconnected when the question is too difficult for the rep. Or you get put on hold for 20-30 minutes. I plan on making some videos myself soon.

most Ebay Phone Support are in foreign countries. The service you get on the phone SUCKS. They practically tell you, no matter the issue, "sorry I cannot help you". And that's it.

Customer support. They don't have it. They set up false phone numbers online for you to call, which redirect you to the ebay site, from which you can't even email them. Also, they raise their prices arbitrarily and put out hidden fees. Oh, and if you somehow call the right call center, you have to go through fifteen minutes of 'setting up your account' before you can talk to someone who probably doesn't speak English or care. On the other hand, Yahoo auctions have no such problems...
Going through the same shit right now! Sold $4000 worth of merchandise in 3 days. One customer from the middle east requests a tracking number at 3am that day while I was sleeping then sends a dispute to Ebay imediately! WTF! SOOO, Ebay suspends my account without any question and PayPal seizes my money. In the mean time, my merchandise have already been sent out to multiple customers! Will they send it back? Probably not! Will Ebay refund me? Probably not! Will Paypal release funds? Who knows!!

I have a few times before. The one time that I received a reply it was five weeks later, and a canned response that had nothing to do with my original question.
BTW, LIve Help is always the best. But they don't offer live help on the home page anymore like back in the day. You have to Google eBay Live help and you can chat with a rep in minutes, sometimes seconds.
It's one of those things that SHOULD be more public, but when it was, the average wait was 25 minutes. So I don't mind the extra step of Googling first.
@itwidale: They have no real customer support. If you call their number you will be on hold for an entire day until you reach a person who does not speak English and will hang up on you.Unless you are a huge company, they simply don't care about you. EBay is not safe for sellers. Use another site.

Going through the same shit right now! Sold $4000 worth of merchandise in 3 days. One customer from the middle east requests a tracking number at 3am that day while I was sleeping then sends a dispute to Ebay imediately! WTF! SOOO, Ebay suspends my account without any question and PayPal seizes my money. In the mean time, my merchandise have already been sent out to multiple customers! Will they send it back? Probably not! Will Ebay refund me? Probably not! Will Paypal release funds? Who knows!!

BTW, LIve Help is always the best. But they don't offer live help on the home page anymore like back in the day. You have to Google eBay Live help and you can chat with a rep in minutes, sometimes seconds.
It's one of those things that SHOULD be more public, but when it was, the average wait was 25 minutes. So I don't mind the extra step of Googling first.

@itwidale: They have no real customer support. If you call their number you will be on hold for an entire day until you reach a person who does not speak English and will hang up on you.Unless you are a huge company, they simply don't care about you. EBay is not safe for sellers. Use another site.

@KriegerDesHasses they have no customer support for actual technical issues. they refer you on to trust and safety who have 2-3 day response times between emails, which is way too long to actually resolve the problem.

Yea! Ebay is criminal. Really. They could care less. I would like eveybody to come together and figure out if we need a lawyer beacuase there are laws and we can meet at the supreme court if we have too.i'm sure we easily round up a couple of thousand people. Ebay rips people off by the minute. So we definitely have more voices now. it's going to be so funny when he goes to jail!
