@Mitsou13200 Bonjour, Christophe! I cannot believe the compact LG top-loader can possibly hold 11kg, but. 5 kg, yes. Too much laundry will overload and strain the machine.
@Amingr I guess some coils (or permanent magnets) are fixed on the tub as stator and another coils with alternate current are mounted on the shaft (inside metal wheel visible on the back) as rotor. Some electronics is needed to make alternate current proportional to speed.
it is a pity that when the bearings go on these machines (and they do) they take out the entire motor aswell, thus making the machine uneconomical to repair.
LG you are wasting your time with this pointless gimmick (and that is all it is) despite all your claims.
The build qaulity of these machine is average and from what i can gather the back up service is not very good either, another example of eastern made flashed up junk being exported all over the world
If you remove the bel from the conventional system you can discover that the motor doesen't work but there is a motor like in the Direct Drive Sistem!!
