hey pepper... i'm gonna throw a longer comment on the forum regarding this vid but i personally liked the skill tree... the main point of this game was to go over the top on everything the first game had to offer... and that was mainly the customization... creating what you wanted... i actually made a thread about my idea for bringing it back and i hope you read it... anyways... check your forum post in the videos section for more of my feedback on this commentary...

F2p games rely on a grind vs pay cash model. There's no real advantage to unlocking with cash since anyone can get the items by just playing.

Imo the skill tree was better. Made people have to decide whether they really want something.

@HadesJanitor Also, the devs are hoping to go into open beta after this phase if nothing goes terribly wrong.
