we have a kid in jc tennessee daniel norris that plays for east cobb yankees 18 i guess that throws 97 now he is raw but my high school team beat him this past season

This was a couple of years ago; Jed (the pitcher) is a sophomore at Georgia Tech now and still pitching.

That's what happens when you play an east cobb team. They pay the umps or something idk but the pitchers get 3 balls of the plate and you play AGAINST an 11 man team. (9 fielde players plus 2 umps)

This was last summer, they were both 18 and under teams. The Yankees had quite a few players who are college freshman this year and some who are high school seniors this year. The Yankees went on to win the Connie Mack 18U World Series in Farmington in Aug 08.

Both these teams are excellent. How old are these guys?

Only thing I'd say is that the ump was a bit relaxed on some of his strike calls. Quite a few were too low on the outside corner.
