  • Abu Dhabi's president and crown prince are no different than Ghaddafi & his son Saif Al Islam and they will get the same fate. just a matter of time! Idiots calling themselves crown princes and kings in 2011. I guess a no-fly-zone in UAE would be a piece of cake for NATO.

  • I can't get made at these people, at least they are trying, and doing a darn good job.

  • Congrats to all *.*

  • i really want to thank everyone who worked 4 this project ^^

  • Im form the US and I worked on this project for a few months and safety is a joke. The entire country is being built by Indian slaves. If they get hurt, which happens daily with 30000 of them onsite at a time, they wash it under the table and get a new slave to do their work for them. The UAE is corrupt and has brought slavery to a whole new level. I was disgusted!

  • @naterdj

    wooow

    i am from uae

r u sure about what your saying!!

they came to uae to work and that was their choice,

we respect them, and we didnt do anything bad to them,

  • @naterdj

man grow up they are not slave u sick, first the construction company is not uae company, there is a contract so if there is slaves blame overseas construction company and above that there are not slaves, there is a contract for the workers, and they work with salary with there request. You are. You sound like you are jealous so grow up...i will give people an example: In U.A.E any big project will talk a place in Abu dhabi or Dubai the companies will come from outside.Be reasonable

  • @BnTamim

    Some spell correction

    "Will take a place"

  • Wait why are they building this over there?? They should bring it to the United States.

  • Your're kidding right, where would they build it, Detroit???

  • @ivancenea We're not the only country with rollercoasters. I wish it was here too.

  • I live in abu dhabi and went to Yas Island today, and its awsome!!! next race im going with my hubby :D

  • or just go to the hotel and be able to see the cars go right under you and watch on the tv at the same time

  • hello everyone! the red roof is now finish. i hope we will see another video of it. IT is amazingly done! very very good. the Yas island is transforming into a beautiful city. when i first saw the place which is a desert, and loads of steels, blocks etc all over the place, i am surprised that after 2 years, it's now a place that you can actually walk around. i have been and watch the race last nov 1st 2009. the Yas hotel looks fantastic. i admired the structures of the island.

  • hey kool music! Who is the artist?

  • the red roof is really Spectacular! to have been build for 2 years is really amazing! seeing this video on youtube makes me feel great coz i have seen how it is being built and i am proud that i am part of the team. it is really amazing! it is the world largest frame ever built for just 2 years! well done to the team!

  • احلا دولة عربية الامارات للامام ونترقب جديد مشاريع الامارات

  • wow amazing!abu dhabi is the richest city in the wolrd! benj yuson from the philippines!

  • Must've been Sunday at the time... lazy lot

  • I saw the results and I think its one of the most ugly man made evironments ever made. But that's just my opinion.

  • you haven't really seen the result yet coz if you do, you are SAD person! why don't you wait until it's really finish before you say something? transforming a desert into something that people can actually live there is just amazing. where do you come from anyway?

  • I come from a place where concrete and tarmak is'nt used to decorate, its a tool,

and where we can apreciate things like the hills that nature gave SPA to make a great track.

This one is just some rich mans marketing exercise and if you fall head over heels for it, perhaps you need to go to places in real life as I have and see that most great things are not built to impress they are built to be a chalenge or to enhance a feature that is prexisting.

Just like an ipod this track is just that

  • A thing...

Oh and I personaly know some ppl that have worked in Abu what ever the name is and there's the nice fact that alot of it is built on the sweat of enssentialy enslaved migrants, wich have their passeports and other documents taken from them to make sure they continue to work.

So I'm sorry if I don't cheer the project on like a fool. I'l leave that for others to do.

  • Oh and I have seen more then you might imagine...

  • @NicolasParcigneau Nic what u doing lol Get back on GTR2 :))))

  • @dannyt999 I did! DOH! lol

  • This video is now well out of date, the hotel frame and glass are complete, the marina is flooded and the wearing course around the track is being laid now.

The whole site and track are awesome and be prepared to be impressed !

  • what about the F1 roller coaster?

do you know when that will be complete?

  • the roller coaster will be finish next year and it will be FUN!

  • Hope they hurry it up, doesn't all this have to be completed by the end of October? The F1 race is November 1st.

  • Comment removed
