I like the texture of this but some of this things are plain dumb. Adding a seventh to an arpeggio can not stand out against the massive modulation from the romantic period. Like alternating a chord with an inversion, with no actual diatonic movement, cant pass as structured progressions. As I said, I like this on a level but the industry could try better.

Not sure, I think he uses both live and electronic elements..don't know what the instrument is but I think u can re-create it(or something like it) by recording a door opening and stretching it's time out with some flange and reverb

I actually think I know what it is! In some music, the composer calls for a cowbell and a bass bow. You ask how you put those two together, you play the cowbell with the bow, by slowly and precisely bowing the edge of the cowbell. You can achieve similar, but different timbres by applying this method to other percussive instruments such as a symbol, xylophone, and a marimba
