Nice selection, I do remember this from when i was a kid(the tune) ... for some reason those japan model Mosrites just don't have the sound I like, but nokie makes it sound just a bit better.
I remember the Ventures music going back to 1960 when I was still in school listening to Walk, Don't Run. They are the greatest instrumental group ever.
@Zac360TURN ... as far as I know since late 1967 he switched from the Mosrite to the tele and other guitars ...Anyway, through the 70's and 80's he did'nt play one. However, in the 1990's he started playin' the Mosrite again (off and on). He designed his own guitar in which he now plays called the Hitchiker. In 1993 I got to see him play a brand new Ventures modle Mosrite at the Mosrite Factory in Booneville, Arkansas. I sure hope I have my dates & facts right :-)) ~Matt~
I remember this live show in Tokyo in 1991. Nokie Edwards along with The Takaya Band.

I didn't know they actually filmed this. I have the 1991 live CD (King Records KICP 702) but this song isn't on it.

Awesome video! Did he play the Mosrite all the way into the early 90s?!?!? I know he had that Tele for a bit too. Very cool video!
