sven what do you prefer, 2 stroke or 4 stroke motorcycles for offroading? i personally prefer 2 strokes, there lightweight, they have more low end power, but they sound like bloody chainsaws, lol... how about you?

I think it depends what you're doing. The 450 i have no is a real monster, it's a monster with wings - but I love it.

But there's nothing like the smell of two stroke....

Spain....450...I've since purchased a 450 when i got back home :)

Actually the guys there rated the 525's over the 450's...they're the "experts"

are you sure about low end power??

2 strokes are best known for their high end power and really narrow power band

i've ridden honda cr250 2stroke and ktm 450exc 4 stroke and i have to say 4 stroke has a lot more low end power but when 2 stroke gets up in the rev range it goes mental
